    It’s about the same steps we took
    But what helped I worked for a new home builder and I was able to build News houses at cost
    The last house I built was 3,000sf on an acre of land huge basement 4bdrm 3 bath sunkin family room with 12’ ceilings and fireplaces going right up to the ceiling
    All this for $90k
    We sold it for $499,900
    I did this 4 times
    It really helped in restoring a 1838 train station into our home. My husband and I did most of the work except for electrical
