About 10 years ago I was in Kansas city for a work thing. Passed a restaurant that has a sign saying "Now featuring Washington asparagus." Dish was great. Guess Im spoiled

Did a Yankton area lake camping weekend, temps and food were great... then in the big winds and a bumpy gravel road the rear topper glass decided to multiply from one piece to 10,000 plus so sidelined until a new one can be found...

The chicken Ray look good in hisparagus I haven't had that in a long time. You can still eat healthy even if you camp out right.

Try adding some yellow squash and zucchini with some portobello mushrooms with the asparagus next time. Just make a boat with aluminum foil. Cook in olive oil with spg and any other seasoning you like.

I love the set up you have for your truck
Just an idea for next time you make the asparagus, it's what I do , I cut a package of bacon in half, cut the bottoms off the asparagus, depending on their size, if thin I take about 3 or 4 and wrap them tightly with a piece of bacon. Then both will fry and crisp up at same time. Keep turning till all sides crisp. I think you will really enjoy them. You can make them ahead of time and bring with you.

Careful Quady! That's what an alcoholic always says! "Let's have a drink, it's 5 o'clock somewhere!". Well the bacon and chicken looks delicious! But I can't stand asparagus! Husband likes it though. I was watching your video between midnight and 1:00 am on Tuesday morning, September 27th. The temperature outside was 51 degrees (Fahrenheit, as I'm in Arkansas). My husband will love it when he gets up about 6:20 am, as he loves the cooler weather to workout in; I like it best when it's between 70-75°, but then I don't do much exercising either! Nice set up. If get a 12v fan that you can hang in front of the little window at front of the cab, YOU should get good ventilation.

Mike, just a suggestion, why not park the truck with your canopy to the table so if get some sprinkles you got your tent, and enjoy more the rain...
