Bison have just returned to the UK following an absence of thousands of years, thanks to a pioneering scheme to reintroduce these mammals to one of south-east England's largest areas of ancient woodland. All the best from the UK.

Sales barns are funny when I was 8 I used to work at one running cattle through the pens Graford Texas in the summer times have changed now not one kid working there.
I wonder if later in life Auctioneers develop mouth issues. My jaw would be locked up for two weeks. I am constantly amazed how they move so many bison through those bison gates. When they focus on one bison they can steer them in the direction they want to go. Was that one bison towards the end were they about ready to charge the fence? I imagine that mixed breed white bison did not bid as high as the pure breed bison?
Yes it is a marvel of getting everything to work just great! Yes he actually did charge the fence he hit it pretty hard you could hear in the video though. She sold for somewhere around $4000 just because people think it’s a novelty just to have a white buffalo. Even if she’s not pure breed.
Very interesting 🧐. The skills and coordination needed in moving the Bison around is amazing. I still don’t understand the auctioneer when he is calling. Although it is fascinating how he can call so fast. Great educational video. 👍🏻👍🏻🙏
Problay one of the most dangerous work environments. Handling Bison im sure somewhat different than cattle. It's certainly looks like it is being done as humane as possible. The white Bison so beautiful a spiritual animal to the Native Americans.
Back in the 90s I had a vision of the white buffalo and what been told to do is warn everyone who are native people to go back to your beliefs and do what you supposed to do store up your food and clothing and foot wear and help each other in every way you can,,
I also have a question about the white bison breeding. Could it be a bull + a female bison and a Cow + male bison to create the same thing? Unsure if it's a "Liger" situation
An explanation is provided that a White Buffalo is extremely rare. That is accurate. A White Buffalo, as shown, is likely the product of a Buffalo and a domestic cow with a white coat. That sounds likely. It is noted that the White Buffalo shown is, in turn, not a purebreed (purebred?). Actually, it's mostly like very few of the buffalo at the show are purebred. Most buffalo now living are genetically descended from cattle and buffalo both.
Did ya buy one?!!!The bull at the first of vid was a big one! What a deal! The ones with the very tall humps are few, why is that? I would sure like to get a buffalo hide remind me of my dad.
the colder the climate, the larger the frame of the animal to take cold. you want to see BIG buffalo come to Alberta, or "Pink Mountain" in BC, the only LEGAL natural buffalo hunt in Canada.
If you look at the tail ,of that white Buffalo , it doesn’t look like a Buffalo tail. It looks like a cow’s tail. She doesnt hold it up like a Buffalo does when they are agitated or move it like a Buffalo moves their tail
I really enjoy my bison steaks and burgers! Thank goodness for these ranchers who helped me regain my health by going carnivore and dumping processed faux foods.

Use to be a car garage and filling station, bait shop and few houses around. Lived there 48 years then moved to Douglass 2010 till I got sick in 2018 now I am in Wichita. We lived on the road that went straight into ElDorado. It was haverhill road. I had family in ElDorado and also Potwin. My cousin married a fella who worked in that pipeline company on Ravenhill and 242 was it. Alot of memories for me too. Glad I could share some for you. Thanks for replying.
Noah that's a big sale barn!!!
Sure is!
Sales barns are funny when I was 8 I used to work at one running cattle through the pens Graford Texas in the summer times have changed now not one kid working there.
Times sure have changed!
We have one in WI about 5 miles from me off Lake Michigan. She is gorgeous...
That’s so cool!
@@BrokenArrowBison She is kind of an Eleanor personality. Very meek.
I love the video
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@BrokenArrowBison *Purebred
Complicated system to move bison towards auction room and return as well. It's impressive and Inspired
Absolutely!
This job would sure get the adrenaline going. Have to be on your toes all the time! Beautiful Bison.
You are sure right!
I really like the catwalk idea. Much safer for folks to view the stock.
It is the best way of doing it.
White bison! I remember a movie long ago about American Indians and a white bison. Even when isn't pure is beautiful, it doesn't matter its mixing.
Yes it was pretty.
White Buffalo is pretty. Can't beleive its bring auctioned off. Aren't they a good sign ? Hope it will be happy where ever it goes home with.
Saw Doc Parsons got one.
Sure did!
Thanks ... Interesting!
You’re welcome Bill!
How much did the white bison go for?
I think it was close to 4000
These humans moving these bison are amazing. Big job where mistakes are costly.
😁🦬
Last time I saw a for real, albino bison was White Cloud in Chamberlain N.D. Years ago.
That’s awesome!
I love watching hing these majestic animals.
Me too!
That was fascinating to watch. How incredibly dangerous it all links for the handlers.
Very interesting 🧐. The skills and coordination needed in moving the Bison around is amazing. I still don’t understand the auctioneer when he is calling. Although it is fascinating how he can call so fast. Great educational video. 👍🏻👍🏻🙏
It sure is crazy! Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome insight, what a way to spend the day!
😁
He looks adorable
Just remember these animals are big and even a tame cow or steer when scared, could kill you. I was pinned to a wall by my steer
Absolutely!
How Beautiful,
Healing to the touch
😁
LOVE THIS WITH ALL MY HEART
Glad you enjoyed it Jonathan!
That was a beautiful white bison
God bless ❤❤
You too Debra!
Problay one of the most dangerous work environments. Handling Bison im sure somewhat different than cattle. It's certainly looks like it is being done as humane as possible. The white Bison so beautiful a spiritual animal to the Native Americans.
It is definitely a challenge. 😁
What a beautiful bison.
I think so too.
We have some white buffalos back when we had a buffalo farm! Great times
I had a vision of the white buffalo back in Early 90s it will come to pass everything been told of by the white buffalo!!!
Back in the 90s I had a vision of the white buffalo and what been told to do is warn everyone who are native people to go back to your beliefs and do what you supposed to do store up your food and clothing and foot wear and help each other in every way you can,,
I’ve been too quite a few auctions! But this dude would make me spend over $5k 🤣 I can’t understand his cadence at allll 🤣💀💀
I also have a question about the white bison breeding. Could it be a bull + a female bison and a Cow + male bison to create the same thing? Unsure if it's a "Liger" situation
Yes, either one would create the same thing.
Was the last auction in MO on the 19th? This was a great podcast. Thank You
Yes it was. Thank you!
No I didn’t buy one that time. They are really big!
the colder the climate, the larger the frame of the animal to take cold. you want to see BIG buffalo come to Alberta, or "Pink Mountain" in BC, the only LEGAL natural buffalo hunt in Canada.
@@thedwightguy i DO want to come to Canada!!!
That looked like the pen stress test of all pen stress tests ! 👍
You got that right!
Are there still herds of pure bred buffalo left in America? Greetings from South Africa.
Yes there are.
Cool video enjoyed it did you buy some animals the white bison is pretty
Thank you! No we did not get any at the sale.
@@BrokenArrowBison gotcha they were some pretty animals
Hi im Arthur Morgan welcome back to fact or cap
Increíble como an Recuperado la cría de Bisontes Genial videos gracias bendiciones exitos
Great video!
Thank you Sean!
or bison we live one beef farm and we breed for meat and I loved that white bison when u showed her on camera she was very pretty night
She was really pretty!
Why does this bison have white fur?
If you look at the tail ,of that white Buffalo , it doesn’t look like a Buffalo tail. It looks like a cow’s tail. She doesnt hold it up like a Buffalo does when they are agitated or move it like a Buffalo moves their tail
Absolutely.
Did you buy the white bison???
No I didn’t.
I saw white bision at Yellowstone giftshop in the back beening Born . My son Alton was five yr old. They had the big then.bdm UNLV msjc 2022.
That’s very cool!
What a beautiful majestic animal. Served medium Rare. How much did that albino go for?
She wasn’t albino. She was a beef cattle cross. About $6,000 if I remember correctly.
The stress these animals are going through is unimaginable.
How do y'all work the herd of bison on your ranch. On horse back or helicopter?
Nope… by whistle. 😁
