Never thought i would be sooooo mezmerized watching a bison eat. What a hoot. Nothing gest done around Herę till i finisz watching the bison. Colę is doing a great job with the filming, he knows what we want to see and hangs on for a long time. We really get to see nice, nice close ups. Appreciated you sharing all of the Stuff going on at Cross timbers. Thank you so very much,
Thank God Lumpy was put in your hands for a reason. His life and passing will not be for nothing like piece trash. He's a beautiful animal that can provide for many long after his passing
I understand how Lumpy could feel. I just had a gastric hernia fixed myself. I was miserable before I had it repaired. You guys are wonderful for taking in Lumpy and trying to give him a good life.
I also had a gastric hernia that was eventually fixed. It hurt and it was no ware near Lumpy's size. I respect your decision. This is a buffalo ranch. You are not raising them for pets.
@@lorivansickle2251 I agree. Been there and am now in the short line. Reading the comments tells me many of the commenters would treat each and every one as a pet.
Thank you for what you did for lumpy. We know you loved him and tried your best. You could tell he was in pain. From someone that suffers badly with arthritis and other health problems, I can assure you that living with constant pain is no joke. You did the best thing for him. God bless you and your family xxxx
So many of us have had animals that reached a tough decision point and that is so very hard. But you gave him life he probably would not have had and made his time as good as possible. With a situation like his, he may have faced an awful prolonged ending punctuated with pain & suffering. Blessings to you and Godspeed to Lumpy in new pastures where there is no more pain.
Dunbar is showing off for his ladies. Know it was a hard decision regarding Lumpy; the right one for the the animal. You gave him a good life at the end and your decision shows your love and compassion for your herd.
When Dunbar attacked that hay bale on the moving tractor, I was really worried he'd poke his head right onto a hidden hay spike in the middle of the bale. They all look good. Thanks for the Lumpy update. I know that was a hard decision, but the best one for Lumpy.
Yes I agree with Billie dunavent said that would be bad if Dunbar shoved that point in to his skull, god love lumpy , yes Dunbar got a personality of his own ,so funny how jumps and kicks in the air
Thanks for the update on Lumpy. I have no doubt that you have done everything possible for him. Sadly all living beings will eventually die. But he has had great care from your farm family. I truly enjoy your videos.
I understand about your decision for Lumpy…you’ve done your best and made the right decision. Dunbar and his ladies are being the best they can be… 💕🙏🏻🙋🏼♀️
Oh my goodness Dunbar VS the tractor was hilarious.. He's something else. Thank you for the Uupdate, sounds like you & Marisa made the right decision for Lumpy. You gave him a better chance and now he'll go to feed someone else , the circle of life. That is one beautiful rooster. Awesome footage Cole, thank you. Take care and God bless....
I cried when heard of Lumpy. You have done the best for him. I am pleased that he will be donated to help those in need. This had too be a rough decision too make but it is what's best for Lumpy. You gave him a happy life these last few months and was able too be with his own kind.
I’ve got a rooster and hen called Bonnie and Clyde!!! They leave every morning together and come back at feeding time!!! They have been seen down the street!!!
All respect to you and your wife for all you have done for Lumpy. I know it was a hard decision but what is for the best. Eleanor's bull is a beauty. Love watching Dunbar. He does have such a personality. He loves that hay.
Dusty...you, Marissa and Kevin have all done a fantastic job in caring for these bison especially Lumpy. I think y'all have made the best decision possible....thank you for sharing your lives and that of the bison!
Thank you for taking such good care of Lumpy. It actually is hard watching him be on the bottom of the pecking order because of his hernia. I’m glad you are doing what is best for him and to give him purpose.
Thank you for the love and kindness that Lumpy got to have and never probably never knew! I feel you did the right thing so he doesn't have to suffer anymore!
Dusty, I just wanted to say Thank you for loving him and giving him such good care! He will be missed but he won’t be suffering anymore! I sure love watching your videos!❤️🤗 Sandy from Sechelt 🇨🇦
Glad to hear that you’re donating “Lumpy” to a needy family. That isn’t a way to live especially when you’re an animal. I’m sure he is in pain cause yeah hernia aren’t any fun. I know that from experience. It’s truly a blessing that you and your family took him in and tried to do the right thing. Thanks for the update and love the videos.
It is so hard to put down any animal we care for my heart goes out to you!! Lumpy has done well and you cared for him with your whole heart. Dunbar had me laughing so much such a character!! He sure helped you spend the hay🤣🤣. Thanks for sharing this footage, I loved it! I enjoyed the close up of your bisons
Thank you for taking care of Lumpy and giving him the best life possible. He will be missed but know you have his best interest in your plans. Dunbar was having fun tearing up the hay bale. Those goldfish look like they're doing good. Eleanor enjoyed you feeding her those cubes. You take great care of your Bison. Take care and stay safe out there. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
You are a good steward of your animals and land! Everyone who has and loves animals--dogs, cats, cows, roosters, lions and tigers and bears--understands the needs of animals and cycle of life. Thank you for your love for him and all your bison, AND your generosity! God bless CTB!
Thank you so much for giving us the time to spend with Lumpy. I enjoy watching your commentaries with all of the bison. God bless all you do for these wonderful animals.
I have raised horses most of my life. Animals that are well broke, well handled, trained. I can get my hands on them daily and provide medical care. Still I have a saying, pick a good day. When an animal is old, sick or suffering waiting is the hardest thing for them. Natural death is not a quick, easy or pain-free process. Picking a good day, rather than when they are already down and suffering is the kindest act of love an owner can choose.
OMG, watching Dunbar and the hay bale is epic, still laughing and yes he's a character, lol makes my day. Keep laughing and loving. Have a good day and week.
Dusty you are the true Bison 🦬 Whisperer! I say that because you know these animals so well and you have so much love and affection for them. I always look forward and get excited when you post videos. The longer the better. Thank you!
Great video. I’m thankful for your efforts with Lumpy and have a ton of respect for your decision to donate his yields to a needy family. Best wishes. I love your channel and content.
It was lumpys rescue that help me follow you, your doing what's best for him, showing him the respect he deserves, ive loved seeing his updates following from new Zealand
It is so good to see Dunbar, Eleanor, Lumpy and the original herd! I have missed seeing them all. Lumpy looks pretty good, you have done a good job of bringing him back to fairly good health considering his condition. Dunbar as goofy as ever! Sweet Eleanor! Thank you for sharing! Looking forward to more. Also looking forward to all the upcoming red dogs! ❤️🦬❤️
Thank you for the update and having been trying to give Lumpy the best as you could. He is lucky to have you in his life. Dunbar is a character. I love watching the herd and the daily life on your ranch. 👍👏

Thank you for sharing life with the bison. I live in Washington State and it's quite an eye opener to learn that you have such challenging weather in your part of the country, too. Prayers for everyone and everything for health and safety. God Bless!❤
Dunbar sure has fun scattering the hay so they can get to the good stuff quicker. All of the bison look good. I know it was a hard decision on Lumpy but you have to do what you think is best for both of you. Hope you have a good weekend.
Bless you for rescuing Lumpy and giving him the best life he could have had for the past moths that youv had him, as you say, it’s not fair on him to be living with that big hernia and farm life is such that the decisions you have to make sometimes are really hard but you and your beautiful wife have such generous hearts and so to donate Lumpy so that others may benefit from his meat, is such a kind thing to do, bless you and your family Dusty, from Granny Linda in the UK 🥰🐾🥰🐾🥰🐾🥰🐾🥰🐾

You have given Lumpy a better life than he would have had in the wild. Thank you for caring. That's one loosely rolled bail!
Who would have thought I would laugh out loud at Dunbar spreading the hay😂😂
He knows Dusty likes to spread out the hay for all the bison, so he was just helping out.
Absolute respect for what you and wife do to bring awareness to the North American Bison. These animals are just amazing. Bravo!
So many of us have had animals that reached a tough decision point and that is so very hard. But you gave him life he probably would not have had and made his time as good as possible. Dunbar is a hoot to watch. You are right, he's just full of personality!

Dunbar sure had some fun spreading out the hay! Love watching him.
Totally understand about Lumpy. You did a great job with him.
After watching the bison eating and interacting, I think your decision on Lumpy is the right one. Its sad, but for the better.
Thanks for the update on Lumpy. I have no doubt that you have done everything possible for him. Sadly all living beings will eventually die. But he has had great care from your farm family.

My heart is hurting. To see his eyes, he looks so tired. God bless you all for what yall have been doing for them all.
Dunbar is a hoot. He’s sparing with the bale. Having a grand time showing your tractor who’s the boss.
Dunbar is too funny, he wears more hay than he eats.
That was nice of Dunbar to help you keep the hay off the ground such a good helper
All respect to you and your wife for all you have done for Lumpy. I know it was a hard decision but what is for the best.
Eleanor's bull is a beauty.

I've had hernias and they are painful so I'm happy to hear that you have decided to do the best thing for Lumpy. He'll be so much better off.
