This tool impressed me so much it's definitely my favourite for straightening! For curls, I love my T3 trio, or Robe Curls, heatless curls! Last year I posted a full review, 3 different hairstyles using the Dyson Corrale, it's a great tool!

I've used steam straighteners in the past before I do tend to like them, better if you're using it the right way, it won't strip your hair, which is what we all want, and I didn't have any breakage. So if you can afford it, steam is the right way to go, just be careful what you buy.
Can we use tap water into it??😕
I've been putting 2 drops of serum into the pod.
It seems like with this one, you can't fully close it, and it's just not meeting the right way. I think I'm going to try the new Barbie steam pod, it has great reviews and people have said it fully closes without ripping your hair, so maybe give that a go.
Can someone please tell me how do the top and bottom parts close? Isn't it supposed to have both parts connected while heating up? And also for storage after use? My steampod doesn't close or lock. Is this normal?
Mine locks from the upper tip while straightening my hair, but it's not like it doesn't close at all and yes for storage it doesn't close, it's normal.

is the steam a treatment, or does it just help to straighten the hair?
There are benefits from using steam, but it's more for just straightening the hair.
I bought one too but I'm struggling with the bristles a bit :( my hair keeps getting stuck in them, but my hair doesn't have knots at all!
Oh no! Couple of questions, is your comb always at the bottom? And is this happening when you're straightening, or curling your hair?

This is really big and heavy guys. It’s hard to get to the roots too. She’s taking really small sections and comparing to the other side which isn’t done. I don’t get why she’s doing that of course the straightened side is going to look straighter lol this is also hard to get close to your roots because it’s so big. There’s a comb in the plates which other people have complained falls off all the time. I sent mine back and I’ll stick with my regular straightener which does the same job very fast and I can get closer to the root and easily do the finer shorter hairs around my hair line. Oh I also always finish with shine spray when I’m done and my hair looks sooooo shiny! Save your money skip this!

I bought it not long time ago. The plates on the steampod only meet at one end and it requires a lot of pressure to bring the plates in full contact with each other. This means that without squeezing the plates together my hair slips through without being ironed. If I squeeze the plates together to get good contact, one end is so tight that it pulls my hair out. How’s yours?
