I first found out about the maritime industry about two years ago here on you tube. Ever since I’ve been really interested in this industry. The only thing that’s held me back up to this point is my criminal record. One misdemeanor and a felony. But like i said I’m really interested in sailing so I’m giving it a shot. I already have my passport and i applied for my TWIC i should be hearing back in that soon. What do you think my chances are in getting my MMC and being able to join the union? Like getting accepting to going to SIU. I know I’ve made it harder on myself but I’m willing to do whatever is needed to be able to sail.
