@@VentureMTB have you been to the Hathaway trails in Tannersville? They recently just added a new tech trail and Thriller is honestly the best jump line I’ve rode in a long time.
Oh yes! One of my favorite spots in the Catskills. I have a video of Tannersville from a year or two ago. There’s a new trail in addition to Ritalin and Thriller?
@@VentureMTB yeah, I think it’s only been open for a couple weeks. It’s not on trail forks. It’s called “Slim Jim” it’s a double black tech trail that runs alongside Ritalin. It’s probably closer to a single black, but for there it’s probably a double black. It’s super technical and loamy.
Nice video! If you are riding clockwise, about 3/4 the way through the loop after the long gradual climb it opens up into double track carriage rd. Off the carriage RD to the right there is a new trail which was closed last year, did you happen to notice if it is open? I did it about 2 years ago and it was kind of a trail with a very long decent and at the bottom the trail disappeared, so I had to hike back to the top.
@@VentureMTB Yes, last year it was in the works. When running clockwise, I noticed a trail off the main loop much closer to where you start and finish. It is off of a turn, I have never taken the trail, but I believe it is the Augusta Mine Trail Head.
