He's still at fault even if the reason he took his eyes off the road was to be a good father. It was an accident but your licenced to be a responsible driver and unfortunately making sure his daughter was fine in that moment made him him an irresponsible driver resulting in someone's death.

Except it's not Felix's fault because he didn't hit Ella and besides that spilt second is all it takes for things to go dangerously wrong when it comes to driving, Ste's at fault for what happened to Ella, no one else
