You should use Distance Texture in Vray!

    Hey, thanks for the video! I have the problem that if i hide the object that is added to the distance map, it stops projecting on my ground. Maybe you can give me a tip for this problem?

      I just have them below the scene lined up. Shouldn't interfere with the workflow too much

      I'd suggest getting it from row 27 : FREE Render Engine for Architects: D5 Render + Rhino Full Workflow Tutorial , it's a bit more cleaned up there :)

    looks like a proximity shader in C4d.

      It's exactly that! Some things you simply cannot do without it, so I'm quite happy that Vray for Rhino now has it implemented.
