2023 Rolls-Royce Phantom Series II - Fully Detailed In-depth Interior and Exterior first look
Rolls-Royce has enhanced its Phantom Series II for 2023. After five years on the market, the iconic eighth-generation model has been given a subtle makeover.
While nothing has been changed when it comes to the mechanics of the luxury car, the Phantom now boasts more modern headlights and an updated Pantheon grille that has a silver line running across the top of its strakes. The grille is also illuminated, giving the car an assertive glow.
On the hood, the winged Spirit of Ecstasy mascot has been made more prominent, and buyers can now opt to go for a darker finish, by adding black trim to the grille, bezel, windshield and side glass finisher. There are also new wheel options: one with a milled stainless steel finish, and the other, a 1920s-inspired disc wheel.
The updated Phantom is graced with a lot of tech features. The company has debuted ‘Rolls-Royce Connected’ here. You can use the ‘Whispers’ app to send a location to the car directly. It can even be used to display the car’s location, security status, and current ’health’ condition.
It will continue to be powered by the same 6.7-liter, twin-turbo V-12 engine that puts out 563 horses at 5,000 rpm and 664 pound-feet of torque at 1,700 rpm. An eight-speed automatic gearbox powers the wheels.
As Rolls-Royce put it, the Phantom update is not about what should be changed but is about what should be preserved and protected. There’s no word on the pricing yet, but the facelift Phantom; I mean, the new-expression Phantom, will certainly be more expensive than the outgoing model. The current model starts at around $460,000 for the standard version and around $550,000 for the extended wheelbase model.

Far too fussy bling chariot, i remember sitting in a new Silver Spirit in the showroom, was , and is.... tasteful (in my opinion) classy without being overdone as this is, in some ways (!) this could be considered a monstrosity. Bring the company back to British control I say
