I am an Australian, I live in Melbourne, Victoria. Last year at school, I had to analyse Stan Grant’s Speech on racism in Australia, Articles on why the Australia Day date should be changed, Articles and cartoons on why it was wrong to climb Uluru, my teacher would commonly refer to the first fleet as the invaders. While we were analysing To Kill a Mockingbird we had to write what Jim Crow laws were and how the still apply in the modern day U.S.A. We had to do do debating on racism in Australia (e.g is racism destroying the Australian Dream, Should the Australia Day date be changed, etc). We had to watch both ‘The Final Quarter’ and ‘The Australian Dream’, afterwards he went on a rant about one-sided stories and that Adam Goodes’s side of the story was the only side of the story. He proceeded to state that Nazi Germany was a one-sided and that the Jews side of the story was the only side of the story (and in case you were wondering, this occurred in English and my teacher at the time was an English teacher, not a history teacher making these comments). After he was done with his rant, he told us to write in our workbooks “We are a racist Australia” with points supporting it and this incident occurred during our debating topic on if is racism destroying the Australian Dream, Should the Australia Day date be changed, etc which is an agenda I DON’T agree with yet I was still expected to write points that supported the agenda. This year, during a whole school mass, the priest mentioned how “unfortunately” if you scratch the Australian flag there was racism underneath it, in other words racism is imbedded into Australia. To cap things off, when I try to voice my opinion on the subject matter to my school colleges and close relatives, they intended to get cocky and scream at me about why those “ideas” are wrong and how Australia and U.S.A are racist countries. For example, one day in English we were shown an episode of Redfern Now (it was the episode “Stand up”) and it focused on an aboriginal student who was asked to sing the national anthem and why it was racist for him to do such an act. After the video was over I called out the bullshit and my friend called me a racist for saying that. As Yr 11 student of Australia 2021, I ask all of those who can stop this critical race theory bullshit from getting into the class to use their power to their greatest extent because Critical Race Theory in the classroom is a SERIOUS issue that needs to end ASAP. Teachers must not be licenses by other teachers but hired based on parents understanding what their kids need. After all parents want their kids to be succesfull adults and teachers unions want them to vote for their bosses in agenda until they will get enough life experience plus keep their positions dispite quality of their work. Old top-down education Institutes are slowing down any progress in obtaining moder knowledge and improving the society.

My son goes to a Catholic school. They have a "non-binary" toilet block and starting this year they mandated that girls could now wear boys' uniforms and vice versa if they choose to do so. Last year he had a history teacher that never stopped talking shit about Donald Trump. I have to say, I'm not impressed. Fortunately the school's music program is great. Other than that it seems to be a cesspool of woke Leftism.

My kids learnt just about zero Australian history, geography and citizenship.. but they had dance extension at high school.. 🤔 The curriculum and treatment of children needs to be rolled back to pre 1990 standards.
