- Georgia Mountain Coaster On-Ride POV, 4K; This Mountain Coaster is located in Helen, GA, USA and is the first mountain coaster in the state of Georgia! The ride is built by Wiegand out of Germany and opened in 2019.
You can control the speed of the coaster with brakes on either side of the vehicle. The rider must hold down the levers the entire ride to have the highest speed. There are magnetic brakes if a rider gets too close to another rider, or if they reach too high a speed. This is a no-brake ride with the handles held down the entire trip.
Helen has a Bavarian Mountain Town setting and has plenty of attractions and things to do. The Germany recreated village has great food, beer, and small-town shops that help to transport you to Bavaria, Germany.

Quick Review of the GA Mountain Roller Coaster: It has some great speed going down, one of the more speedy models that I've been on, but it is also on the shorter side. I think it's worth your time and I recommend it after some beers in the town of Helen, worth a visit for a day!

I ran this at night while it was raining on new years evening. Line was short. They put shields on it to make you not get wet. You go so fast in the rain
That sounds fire
Nice!!! Thanks for sharing.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Good video. I've ridden several times and this is exactly what you get with the exception of normally a very long line to get on.
Relateable
I loved getting to go there to see that town. Most 5 graders went to the capital, well I went to North Georgia
I rode this exact same ride in Helen, Georgia. It was fun, and i felt the gravity push me down, but there were annoying people infront of me who went slow, so I had to slow down lol! The entrance is a great place for pics. :D
So a individual rider can control their speed?

Going to Helen was an interesting experience
The thing that kinda scared me about this ride is how sketchy it felt 😂
I know its 100 percent safe because it has to be able to withstand the wildness around it and stuff but it just FEELS like it was gonna break.
Me and my kids rode this today… TWICE. Was kindve pricey but worth the experience
I’m going next week, how much is the tickets?
Very cool footage! Maybe they’ll build a roller coaster in the mountains near my home?!?! 😂 Thanks for sharing! Cool channel! I’m following!
Thanks, You saved me some money.. I think I'll pass on that. Seemed very short for $15 per person for a single trip down.
I thought the same thing. I’d pay $5-7.50 per ride, but $15 is too steep
I’m in Helen for a trip and just did it. I quite enjoyed it!
Would say the same thing, but I’m already in line 😂😂
I saw a ride similar to this somewhere(didn't ride it, saw it driving by) somewhere else
Such a short ride. 😩 but it looks fun 🤩
That end comes up quick. I thought you were going to plow through the station. 😂
✌️💙☯️🤝
Had to test out the auto braking! 🤷♂️😆
@@AmusementInsider at the end i was going SPEED, so i breaker bc I didn’t know there was auto. I thought i was gonna crash and get injured AHHAHA
That was pretty wild. He said it was short. I wonder what the longest mountain coaster is in the United States and or the world thanks for sharing the video.
In the us I think it’s the newest one in my state Tennessee that was newly released for longest in the 50 states.
Why do I get the feeling, if I rode this, I'd get stuck behind some idiot going way too slow?
@Peyton Prescott alright thank you, I was wondering this exact same thing
Perhaps, they have a child experiencing their first coaster and are screaming their head off so they need to go slow to keep him/her calm. I have a 4yo that I would like to take on one of these, but am envisioning how he'd handle it and what I would do to help calm him down since he would not be able to climb in my lap.
@@ArizonaHotSauce still messes up the experience for others
He’s the heck🎉
Is this one of the better ones? It seems so short.
Faster than most I've been on, much shorter though yes.
There are better ones out there.
It’s pretty fast compared to the few in Pigeon Forge, but it is pretty short. If you want a long ride I’d recommend Goats on the Roof or Rocky Top.
Do we have to ride it or is it automated?
I was so scared when my mom went full speed
I was there today
There was enough warning signs visible to make my mother and I turn back to the car and head our on our last day in Helen Georgia, because we both have brain injuries and neck injuries
Wow I’m early
Cool.
Bro I went there it was so scary
You said Tim OMG!
Not sure if thats worth $16.
If only it was a real one. That’s super short. Lol
😂😂😂😂🎢😅 I like this guy scare and wooowww !!!!!
Do you control the speed?
There is a brake. But thats no fun!! Lol
Well, that's what I would like.
@@gowest8184it will slow down the people behind you tho
