I'm an Italian American from NYC but c'mon. Anyone that followed the Knicks knows Jalen Brunson is the reason we got to game 7 of the second round this year. The Big Ragu was extremely critical to our success and had huge moments but there really is no comparing the two.
@@AdamRaia yeah, but being the best player sometimes has nothing to do with how people may react to a person. There’s retired nba players right now who think that Brunson can’t be a superstar due to being “boring”
If the jets go 5-0 with Rodgers then NY will go nuts. Morris not being able to acknowledge that as a “culture critic” based in NY just demonstrates how corrupt and lost our entertainment outlets/institutions have become. Rodgers beliefs dont fit nicely into the coastal elite ideology, so anyone who buys into that mindset will automatically have an adverse reaction to any possible positive effect Rodgers may have. It was a small exchange that was part of a bigger conversation but it really stood out to me.
There’s nothing like an NHL game. It’s about tradition. Every city has their own unique chants when they score and traditions. I love the Yankees but it feels corporate nowadays. The Knicks are fun when they are winning. I dunno about Jets fans but MetLife stadium is a nightmare whenever I go to root the Giants. Going to a New York Ranger game is very intimate sports experience.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. This is how fans of a loser franchise talk. This is how it felt to be a Dubs fan 15 years ago. Desperate to be relevant. Over the moon to be in the second round. The mighty New York Knicks are officially a C tier franchise.
They may be C tier in terms of success but not relevance or value. As far as I know, they're one one of the most valuable NBA franchises, which is due to their relevance. Even an ok season from the Knicks is more important than a great season from a small market team. It's just how it is.
This is the guy that's going to talk about ny sports with you lol
Saying Donte over Brunson at first is wild.
Yea he had no idea what the question was lol
i think he meant like fan favorite bc the nyc italians go crazy for dante
Not saying it’s not wild but there’s so many Italians in the NYC Metro that it’s underlying love for their kin. Example would be Tommy on the Giants

As a New Yorker, Brunson is the current face of NY sports. If the Yankees win the World Series then MAYBE Judge becomes the face for a bit
Idk man, this city is falling in love with Soto. If they win a world series, especially because of him...I can see him becoming more popular.
Shesterkin?!

Wesley is a prime example of East Coast liberal
This season was nostalgic of the 90’s, younger Knicks fans got a crash course
He absolutely didn't understand the "stop the restaurant" meaning lol

Baseball has Julio Rodriguez
As a Mariners fan I see him every day and he plays with unadulterated joy
Baseball has an Anthony Edwards in Elly de La Cruz!!!!!
😒😒
Elly de La Cruz is Dominican...
Ant is exciting in the States because he was born in the States...
US hasn't had a young player like this in a while.
Not even close. Elly is not even good

I thought of Alcaraz before he mentioned him as the most similar to anthony edwards

Daily dose of Bill

Love Wesley
If his play on the field matches his charisma off it, Keon Coleman could be that guy.
I'm a big history person.
History is important.
🤓🥵
Kyrie is at a place where he has far less scrutiny. Media is a completely different world in Dallas. I doubt Kyrie is much different. in Dallas.
In Dallas we love our Muslim Jewish brothers
Who make mad plays for the team
Less Wesley Morris. This guy is full of crap.
Guy hasn’t been to a Knick’s game all year? What lol
Wesley is a m°®°π
Ponder the Oscar Golman casting alone.
This guy doesn’t know wtf he talking about lmao
Is there one mention of the Rangers in the conference finals? One?
Bill's not a big hockey guy.
Who?
Yes Wesley did mention it
Fix the cameras grandad.
They should try to get the center from the bulls or pelicans if they are FA. If they can somehow get bridges from BK that would be wild
I think Knicks should keep everybody expect Mitchell Robinson & Randle for Jimmy maybe a couple picks

It brought back toxic knicks fans to the conversation
