There are enough people who will blindly worship others and not pay attention to details that you just don't know. People like to think of people as actually singing to them because that's the portrayal they see, and likely aren't imagining people just pretending to sing in any given moment -- with the exception of music videos, probably. But you don't typically imagine video calling someone and then them just pretending to talk/sing to you. So sometimes people do need to be brought back to earth a little bit.

I cried when Laura Bell Bundy showed up. Her performance as Elle made me go through emotional roller coaster and low self-esteem in my last year of high school. Memories of watching her performance and crying emerged in me as soon as she appeared. Thank you to editors, writers, and the original cast in the video. Hope everyone is staying well.
My high school was supposed to do this musical (I'm Vivenne and my best friend is Elle), but we can't do it now bc of school being closed. This really lifted my spirits up and i just sent it to my directors in hopes it'll cheer them up too. Thanks y'all! 💗💗
