I just said this morning that my girl obviously doesn't appreciate that I spent weeks, hundreds of hours researching her ethically sourced, species appropriate and very expensive food 🤦♀️ this was the video I needed to watch.
Brenda, if you want ethically sourced, you'll need to email or call to get more information than what is on their site. I was very disappointed to see such a vague answer, not even any mention of humanely raised, to a question about meat sourcing. From Carna4 website: "Q: Where does your meat come from? A: We use only clean, fresh, meat that is from a Canadian Food Inspection Agency inspected facility and from animals processed for human consumption in federally inspected facilities." From my comment: "This is too vague for me. It does not assure me that the chickens are cage-free, pasture-raised, humanely treated and that the fish is wild-caught. ... So please answer. For the ingredients in your products, is the chicken cage-free and fed non-gmo and is the fish wild-caught?" Haven't gotten a response. I could email, but no longer interested in Carna4.
I feed homemade and never feed kibble. But decided to try Carna4 and only use it when I am rushed for time. That is when I do feed it but my God! The dogs are like jumping up into the air and barking and so excited when I get the bag out. They absolutely adore it!’n
We love Carna4! We get alternating bags of chicken and lamb and top it with bone broth and a dried herring, freeze dried chicken heart, or some plain cooked meat. He loves it!
Fantastic video! Just had a question, I'm feeding Carna4 to my two cats, I'm wondering about the carbs in the food? What would be the percentage of carbs? My two cats are 14 lbs each lol so I'm just wondering if the carbs are okay for my girls. Thanks guys :))
Can you talk about the freezed dried, Super high end, low low heat or cold packed foods most recent foods on FB etc.. that are the best options and WHY!!
Carna4 is great; however, supply can't keep up with demand. With this being said, they are out of stock with the duck and chicken 22lb bag a lot. This is frustrating. As far as the food goes, it's second to none, My dogs love it and I can see a differnce. Worth the extra money.
Impressed by this video. Looking for a less expensive dry food than the one I'm feeding my two cats now (it's very expensive freeze-dried raw that I really can't afford). I'm feeding them wet food, too, but I need a "kibble substitute" because they're so addicted. Finally, got them off kibble with the freeze-dried. I'd prefer less carbs although I love that you're using sprouted seeds. My main concern though is where the chicken and fish are sourced from. I checked the Q&A and this is what I found.' This is too vague for me. It does not assure me that the chickens are cage-free, pasture-raised, humanely treated and that the fish is wild-caught. I didn't hear that discussed in the video and was disappointed. I won't feed my cats meat from factory farm raised animals or farmed fish. I don't know how someone so passionate about health, in this case pets' health, could use ingredients that are sourced like that. So please answer these two questions. 1. For the ingredients in your products, is the chicken cage-free and fed non-gmo and is the fish wild-caught? 2. I appreciate that you use organic whenever possible/available from your suppliers. But when they're not organic, are they at least non-GMO? Thanks!
I prefer natural, but not enough companies will ever do what carna 4 does. We do the best we kibble i prefernto soak it so its spft nefore feeding so its easier to digest, whether it does. Who really knows😊 if we feed
work it into the rotation, I have a 62 lb gsp that eats more than my 80lb mix breed lol... I'd definitely use white dog bone not amazon to purchase the big bags. even 1 bag every 3 or 4 months is a great switch up for them

Thank you!
I wish the owner would address the very high carb count ....close to 40% 😮
u recently learned its closer to 34-35% 😊

Can you feed Carna4 to 6 weeks old puppy?
Good information thank you😊
Thank you for this !

look at the label... 100-protein-fat-fiber-moisture-5 for ash = carb content roughly because protein and fats are minimum percentages

where are you ordering from? I know they were out of stock all over for a short period
That sucks. Couple specialty pet store in my area that ALWAYS have it in stock. I’ve been using carna 4 for months now

Amazon has a 20lb bag at $200. 2lb bag at $40. I was very interested in carna4 but With 2 Labradors…. This is not gonna happen.

Whole foods are great. But their nutrient and mineral levels are excessive, and the kibbles are hard like rocks
4 off the recipes are the softer kibbles. Excessive levels are no problem with no syn thetics. The body will simply discard swhat it doesnt need.
