ive been knitting on and off for a few years now, and sometimes I come back to beginner videos to refresh myself on things I know how to do. But it feels like I'm always learning more :D
I've watched lots and lots of different people do knitting tutorials, and you by far have been the easiest to learn off of! I love the energy you bring to your video, you seem like such a genuine and loving person. When you say you're proud of us, it really feels like you mean it.
I just wanted to say thank you. From one teacher to another, you are a fantastic instructor. Teaching doesn’t come easily to everyone, but you are a natural. Your videos are the perfect pace, your tone is so happy and reassuring, and your methods give great results. I often rewatch your videos just to ensure I’m doing things correctly as I knit, and I feel like you give us (your students) so much positive reinforcement. Thanks again and happy knitting!! 😊 🧶 ❤️
Thanks Kristen… I have always dreaded weaving in, hence abandoned projects… but this on I love and have multiple changes in yarn colour, but having watched the first example of weaving in from you I am happy to press on towards the goal. Thanks again 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍
This was the most helpful video I have found to help me weave in my ends! I love your personality. Thank you and I will have to come back the next time I finish a scarf 😄
I know this is an older video so u might not see this, but thank you so much :). This is a much easier method than I’ve seen and it makes me not dread this process so much!
I agree with Susan. Weaving the ends diagonally is really cool! But it's going to require a bit more focus for me than the vertical way. But I'm excited to get started. So here goes! Thanks Kristen.
Kristen thank you for showing multiple methods of weaving in ends. I knew about the diagonal method but not the up and down method. Excited to try his method on my next project!
This is the first of your videos I've watched and I like how well you explained this, I have a feeling there is a lot I can learn from you so I subscribed. ❤ Thank you.
Okay honestly I dont have a tapestry needle and I did this with a crochet needle.... just pulled the strings through the ones that you did and it worked fine! I don't recommend it if you already have a tapestry needle, but if you happen to have a small crochet needle and not a tapestry needle it does work
You have explained very well ,but weaving in ends makes the fabric thicker where you weave in the ends ,is this problem with me only or does it actually thicken it.
Hello. The row I’m on is P2, K1. I’m working on the Pique Rib. I have to add yarn now. I’ve seen a couple of videos on adding yarn. In my case, how can I apply this technique? Right now, I have two tails sticking out on the right side of my scarf. I’m afraid it will look bad after weaving them through since they are on the right side. Help?
This is it, #EarlySquad! Finish up your knitted swatch today... more knitting projects and a little celebration coming at you later this week!
I'm about a year late, can I still be in the #earlysquad ?
Thank you for actually telling me it was safe to cut the yarn at the end, a bunch of other videos never actually showed how to finish! 💖
You're so welcome and happy it's helpful to you, Mari!
The same thing happens to me, always afraid to cut the yarn at the end...

:0000 i didn't know there was a way to weave in ends! i just kinda,, randomly sewed it in
i'll use the diagonal way now !
How do you weave in ends when you have a different stitch pattern? For instance, the seed stitch pattern.
Loving the guitar tune at the end....its nearly as exciting and addictive as The Game of Thrones theme tune :)
Ha, that is HIGH praise, thanks, Jock! GOT theme song is actually my ring tone! Wish I had a flying dragon, too!
Very clear and easy to follow. Thanks!

Great hack idea, thanks!

Great explanation!!! 💕🌺💜
You are sooooo awesome! I just love your helpful videos! Thank you 😘😍
Hi! Thank for the video! What is the kind of needle that you use to weave the yarn in?
thanks for this! will it come undone?
You have explained very well ,but weaving in ends makes the fabric thicker where you weave in the ends ,is this problem with me only or does it actually thicken it.
also people who crochet hate to wave in the ends haha it'a a shared emotion 😅😂
Thank you!
You're welcome, Zainab!
You hate weaving ends much more when you don't have tapestry needle XD
What did you use instead? Thanks!
@@violetw2520 Not who you ask but I use a very small safety pin or a thin hair clip
CG N. Thank you so much!
I hope you find some! The ones's I got were really nice, 2 for about $1.50
I lost mine a thousand times. I recommend using a crochet hook. It works just as fine but it's a little longer.
