The product design really reflects the amount of efforts you've put into designing it Nathan! Well done, kudos to you :)
This will COMPLETELY change the game with surveying, and that's not even counting all the other things the modules can do. A robust flight specific vehicle model for the IMU sensor fusion versions would be revolutionary, it would make orthophoto and photogrammetry way more efficient (considerably less time spent on the location calculations).

knew you guys at Sparkfun were preparing a bold project to benefit us. I need one of these that has radio for communication between base and rover, provides a rinex file and that it connects with survCE or Fieldgenius.
I'm a surveyor and for me the ideal is to have these two variables...Sparfun express+ and Sparkfun Surveyour at the same time

That's accuracy, but is its precision better? Can it measure the distance between two points on the ground to better than 14 mm?
How well would that system cope with forest canopy cover, if corrected with RTK data from a phone?
I have access to good NTRIP data, but am worried about the degradation the multipath would bring. All I'd need is around 2m of accuracy for property border merker surveys.

I have the same question. The State govt provided NTrip here is only sparsely available in the big cities. It sure would make a good base station if it could transmit corrections data over LoRa in the 915 MHz band

This product is designed for GIS professionals. There's no way there going to teach you all the concepts of Geospatial 10 minute phone call.
This is a gem if you know how to use it. I am a seasoned surveyor and this thing is giving my R12i run for the money.
