- Featuring all 11 seasons of Aqua Teen Hunger Force and the Theatrical release movie, The Baffler Meal collection is a great release from Warner. Although I am saddened it is not "complete" as the title suggests, missing the episode Shake Like Me, there is a lot to appreciate from this collection. Kinda weird how they can't put "shake like me" or "Boston" when south park was able to put the banned episodes on their box sets. Questionable choice for an adult show to do such a thing but ok I guess?
I think it was more a Warner Bros. Decision than specifically Adult Swim

Those banned episodes where allowed to be released by Comedy Central, the only reason we have Boston is because someone leaked it back in 2015

Despite claiming to be a complete set, the episode "Shake Like Me" is missing from this DVD set. The episode "Shake Like Me" is still included on the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume Six DVD box set from December 16, 2008. So that's an option. But them releasing this DVD set after Aqua Teen Hunger Force arrived on HBO Max in 2020 made me have a bad feeling about this set and I was right. Look I wasn't expecting them to include the "Boston" episode, especially since that episode was never fully completed, but "Shake Like Me" is missing on HBO Max as of June 25, 2020 and sadly that episode being banned is the same on this DVD set as well.
I might just planning on getting "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters" on DVD because it was the only Adult Swim movie to be released in theaters.
Well, the Aqua Teens got it easy compared to Beavis and Butt-Head's full release.
Why the hell didn't they do this on Blu-ray? Man.... what a let down and the fact that they're missing episodes on top of that... I got to pass. Maybe someday they'll do it right?
I kinda get why they went the DVD only route given the pretty high price of this release, and honestly i’m fine with it especially since most people have DVD players anyway, but i do think it’s odd they released this on DVD, but not the recent movie.
Your theory about the ATHF Episode Shake Like Being removed from disc 12 which I think is Disc 2 of Aqua Teen Hunger Force 6 because the episode considered having a stereotypical style and plot being the cause of the Box set's delay from July to September is the same theory that I have.
If it was blu ray I would of got it day one! I have all the previous volumes as I purchased them as they were released, and always wanted them to release the rest. The thing is though they started producing the show in HD so why would they put this on DVD? I never watch the old DVDs I have so I'm hesitant about this. I'm waiting for the price to go down before I get this.

The fact that Shake Like Me was removed from the COMPLETE series means I will not be buying it. That's like releasing the complete Beatles box set but removing "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" from Abbey Road.
If you have the original volume I don't think it's bad idea to buy this. It's not their fault they couldn't include it probably. Besides more fans that buy this the better as it shows people will still support the show; however the price is a bit steep so on that level it's a whole ball of wax. I bought the blu ray of the new movie.

I remember reading somewhere that the reason for the DVD and not blu-ray was cost but for the fact they want 112$ for this set id more pay 50$ at most because it's dvd I'd pay higher for blu-ray
For sure I'd hold off on purchasing a set like this when considering the expense. Kinda crazy for DVDs to be so expensive in 2022!

Still waiting for a price drop in Canada. $112 on Amazon. $105 on ebay. Crazy for DVDs. Love the show. But not paying more than $60 for a DVD set in 2023
I'd definitely wait! Some other folks in the comments have found it cheaper than eBay and Amazon. From what I've heard, Walmart online had it much cheaper than both.

Some seasons are uncensored - disappointed that the last 3 are not, especially since they remain exclusive to this DVD set.

For ppl to complain about a full set, almost complete set not having an episode or 2 seems a bit of a stretch, I own this box set and it was well worth the money, yall just weird for being upset over 2 episodes it's not that bad 😂😂

@tman8876 it's weird cause yall understand they didn't include it to not offend ppl even tho most black ppl who watch the series have no issue with the episode of topic, some find it offensive so they were just playing it safe, so sure I get the upset about not having the episode but it's not gonna kill anyone lol

I hope they updated the menu's. I remember one of the discs had a gag were the 'play all' button literally played all the episodes at once, it would show 13 (if I remember right) episodes all packed on to the screen. haha okay that was pretty funny. Then you go into the episode list and there's another play all button and you would think surely it would work this time. nope. it was funny but kind of annoying at the same time. I just want them to have an actual play all button this time around. Disappointing about the episode that was omitted I'll still pick this up. And a copy of season 6 too I suppose. Then there's the bomb scare episode, but you can find a leaked version with partial animation somewhere if I recall.

Yes! Volumes 1-8 are the exact same releases as before (apart from Shake Like Me being removed from vol. 6) - the rest is new content, plus the movie discs which are also the same. Hope this helps!

I know the complete series of Metalocalypse on DVD had a missing disc so I never got it.
Luckily that issue has been fixed:) Doomstar Requiem was missing, but it's included on S4 Disc 1.
I collected up to volume 5 and the movie when I was a teen. Might pick this up if the price drops a bit more. Really stupid they removed an episode from volume 6, im surprised they went out of their way to do that, you'd think they'd just reprint the old volume discs which had everything.
