If something goes wrong with Zoom, I switch to WhatsApp. Since I used it a lot last year, I have all the contact info right on my phone. I have to hold it in one hand but, hey, the show goes on! Thanks for your videos. Well done.

    Hi there,
Tip no.10 Back up plan for the tech.
Do you record video of a full Lesson time ? (e.g 40mins class so 40mins lesson video) or create a condensed? Also, how do you share video lessons to parents? Is there any particular software/app you use? Awaiting your response. Thank u.

Hi there, for online lessons do you ask students to purchase the book that you teaching from? Or you prefer sending them a photo copy so that they don't need to make any extra purchase. Awaiting your response. Thank you.

We both have a copy of the book. Photocopying music is a breach of copyright and I would never encourage a student to do that for any reason other than page-turning issues.

What 1st time books do you recommend. Then what is the 2nd step book you would recommend after that please? For parents teaching their child at home.

Hi Pasi! If you haven’t found a method book yet, I use Piano Adventures. If they are very young and not reading, there are, “My First Piano Adventure” levels “Pre-Reading, A, B, and C.” (4-6 y/o) If they are a little older, they can start with Piano Adventures “Primer” (6-8 y/o). I think a lot of teachers also use the Alfred method books and Safari method books. I’m not familiar with those. Keep researching and experimenting. Hope you find something helpful!
