- Everyone Is Sleeping On This Upgrade... BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - we've all heard about pouakai and condor being incredibly strong... but what about its predecessor upgrade? Here we use it to try to beat a classic advanced BTD5 map.

It's 3 am here and I'm trying to unsuccessfully fall asleep for the last 2.5 hours. Now's the time.
I wish the beast got cross path benefits. Top=damage. Middle=speed, bottom=beast reach
I think the main path would need a small surface, but it disapoints me that there is no diversity between the beasts.
I think this would work better with a cheaper mid game, buying the 024 dartling made reaching pouakkai pretty rough
Yeah Dragon's breath would've done well but the map is more conducive to global range towers
It doesn't even need a different midgame to save for poukai. Just get a max golden eagle and a condor for the bfbs. This way gets poukai before r80
Max geagle into max condor easily saves up to pouakai pre80 with decent micro, guess he's quite lazy with the run
Bird not being able to attack zomg is just ludicrous. Its one thing to not be able to CC them, but being unable to even dmg till tier 5 is absurd
yeah, it would be like if bloon impact couldnt hit moab class bloons, or if basically any CC tower couldnt damage BADs
but i guess ice monkeys kinda had this treatment for a while now

Yes, berserker brew ( and stim in some cases ) is what makes top alch SS. Dirt cheap upgrade that pairs well with pretty much everything in the game that has no competition whatsoever.

I sleep on Sauda every night, not a golden eagle.
I feel like all the beast handler upgrades should at least damage moabs and not be completely useless until moab layer is popped.
It should be like the top path where if it can't drag down moabs it still attacks them and does splash damage

I feel like the Beast Handler is massively slept on in general. I mean the steam achievement for getting 150k exp with it (which is borderline nothing) has only been gotten by 6.1% of the playerbase. The tower was cool with the super strong shark at launch but then it got nerfed into Tartarus and it just feels like the complexity and buildup of making a strong dino isn't rewarded enough through effectiveness.
The reason why no one has the achievement is cause most people who have the game on steam don’t play anymore

The Achievement's kinda weird because if you want to get it fast you have to upgrade Beast Handler as little as possible. And if you DON'T do that, Beast Handler's level 5s cost over twice as much as most other Towers for some reason so you're going to be grinding for a while, and at that point you don't need the XP, so only people really hard onto getting Achievements for the sake of getting Achievements are ever going to bother with this, even though it's not very hard to do, it's just very awkward.
I get the feeling the Achievement is supposed to include spent XP, because it's supposed to encourage you to try the new Tower, but it doesn't accomplish that at all as is.

I feel like bottom tier beast handler would work better on expert maps with multiple lanes to pull everything into the same lane. Still really strong though regardless

@@wasp795 It can, but the main problem is that it takes a lot more time to carry bloons halfway across the map than it does to carry them a couple inches back. Most of the notably-difficult multi-lane maps make it hard to utilize this ability effectively.

Day 6 of asking ISAB to do a boss event on Erosion (optionally without boat/sub/ice).
I feel like getting 2 golden eagles would have been way more cost effective than investing in bottom path dartling in this case. Also I wanna see isab try out a strat where you combine bottom path and top path beast. Top path takes our the big moabs and bottom path does clean up / feed the orcas! I think it would be solid tbh.

I think this map just doesn't show us some major strengths of Pouakai compared to other stalls, such as seeing through walls and pulling from all lanes into one

I love using a max 0-0-3 BH as mid game support in bosses, what ya talking about? Its quite lovely a tower, makes my traps just that bit more effective while removing moab innards from being an issue.

ISB Challenge idea:
Use only towers you put in S tier from the tier list video you made
Play it in chimps and use only that crosspath and you must get to the final upgrade that is in S tier if it is something like super mines , if that is to difficult you can just stop anywhere in the crosspath as long as it is the same crosspath as the one in S tier.
Its like 3am for me, and I am not even sleeping. Not even considering the eagle part.

There is a small spot where you can beat round 6 with quincy with the help of some macro.
At least that's what I tell myself after leaking 2 reds, or a blue, depending on luck.

I'm late but at 17:13 you can see that the Pouakai doesn't see the top of the second bend, that's why on round 80 the condor didn't pick up the BFBs at the front, they weren't in its range
Mans makes a video showing off how good bottom path beast is and the whole video my only thought was how underwhelming the upgrade was...

Recently got back to playing, it's been my to go Adora Partner.
Beat handler is strong, but its so expensive that you cant get it t’ill its too late and it becomes mostly useless

wonder why he ranked bloon alchemist as F cuz i have a round 250 save where he has120mil+ pops
Because those pops are "stolen". Basically there is a VERY large positive bias, yes, it looks good that it has 120M+ pops, but if you didn't have it then you likely would have at least 75%(potential over exaggeration) of those pops on other towers, meaning its "true" pop count(the things it killed that let you live) is closer to only 30M+, the other 90M would have been cleaned up by the VTSG, Paragons, Spikes, and any random support towers picking up pops.
This leads to professionals and tier list makers having a large negative bias, because they are "sick and tired", so to speak, of everyone pretending BMA is a great late game tower and not this random thing you get because why not.
It is good, don't get me wrong, but it's not 120M at 250 good, it's just the skill set(pop theft) of the BMA that makes it look that way. Additionally the tier list is for standard CHIMPS, and BMA makes you earn less money via turning very rich blimps into poor red bloons, and Round 100 is the last round. I don't know how much of this is news to you 5 months later, but that's the general gist, it looks good, but when you remove it you'll realize it's not useful.
