Before Jennifer Lopez became a global superstar, she appeared on a lesser-known TV sitcom called 'Second Chances'. this role came after her stint as a Fly Girl on In Living Color but before her iconic portrayal of Selena Quintanilla-Perez. This early performance subtly hinted at her future success, foreshaddowing not only her role as the beloved Mexican-American singer but also her own rise to stardom. Interestingly, "Second Chances' also seemed to presage her later, more turbulent journey in love and failed relationships. I respect her even more after having watched the Bordertown movie about these Mexican women being killed in Juarez. This movie really touched my heart. People know her mostly from rom-coms, and smash hit singles but not many know how many hidden beautiful movies and songs she has hidden inside her rich filmography and discography.
True I just saw this last month never even knew about it. My all time favorite though is the cell. Masterpiece but very disturbing so it’s not a movie I would watch multiple times. Also loved Angel Eyes.
