Wow! The way she talked back then about latinos in Hollywood. And still people discredit her and try to erase history as if she wasn't one of the principal actresses that put latinos front and center on Hollywood. She was destined to be a huge movie star. I wonder how it would be if she never went the pop star route. I'm sure she would have a few Oscars by now and much better movies and roles. But then we would have missed Jen the pop star.
But she wanted to do it all, and she can. She did it, she still doing it. Haters stay mad. She went from being the FIRST LATINA to win 1 million for a movie to make 15 millions aprox nowadays and over 400 million fortune.

She was significantly more pleasant back in the day.
As her fortune and fame blew up, she drank more and more of her kool-aid, which translated to her personality negatively.
She definitely stole Selenas personality after doing the Selena movie she wasn't smiling and laughing so much before she even had a role on that movie I've seen her way before the Selena movie and her personality always been average like how she is in this interview she definitely saw a opportunity and took it but she went too far far as to still acting like Selena when the cameras stopped rolling

Get a life. People be nit-picking and instead of praising Jennifer for beautifully playing Selena and commemorating her, they be hating on her. Selena deserved long life, happiness and career, but JLo made her own name and even though many ballads on her first album were Selena-inspired, I pretty doubt Selena (had she lived) would come out with songs like Waiting For Tonight, If You Had My Love, On The Floor etc. Jennifer didn't rip off anything from anyone! In the most extreme case she was inspired but we all get inspired all the time.
