The way Rob acted vs the track hawk guy, is the reason we all love Rob Dahm so much, just a genuine guy just doing racecar stuff no excuses no whiney attitude. Alot of they guys you bring on are cocky for no reason, like Vin said, it's pointless because you're not really winning anything. Win or lose racing is fun

Imagine buying a showroom fast car, doing practically the minimum upgrades of wheels tires springs and air filter delete…and then whining about fair race parameters like starting at the same time and going less than a quarter mile. Don’t you know the the car you’re racing is a hand built, multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars and countless hours of customizing. You are not here to win buddy you’re here so we can see Rob’s car.

Pausing early just to say, the amount of engineering and effort put into that car just to have a scrap of wood hold the hood open…. It’s perfect. Don’t ever change .
I've watched this like 6 times now. I can't wait for the next episode. Daddy Dahm adds a whole 'nother level to this show. Can't wait to see who the next "vs the world" contenders are later this year. Oh and pumped to see Bad Dad Brad back in action.

Rob finally is getting his car dialed in. Sounds and looks so good
It's honestly impressive how consistent the car is now. Rob is a beast.
The car is already a monster and he is still aiming to lose a lot of weight and add a bunch of power to it. The car is still mostly steel panels with a custom mock-up widebody and tons of bondo as a way to design and prototype the final body. With the carbon body, new frame and larger turbo it will be insane.
Southern hemisphere do it best robs rotary build isn’t that impressive when compared to a lot of New Zealand builds that don’t get any attention. Not putting anything past this build it’s amazing

After all these years of seeing Rob's car slowly coming together, it's awesome seeing this thing actually racing and it sounds great! That Trackhawk is no joke and it sounds fantastic, too!

He was also running against a grocery getter that weighed 2k lbs more, had less HP, and has no top end. Hardly competition for what Rob's car is supposed to be.

I couldn't help but notice that Rob's 4 Rotor came already prepped without rear glass 🤣🤣 But forreal, cant believe that Rob's years and years of tinkering and researching, wrenching and breaking and making better, have earned him a featured series on Hoonigan and, more honorably, to be considered amongst colleagues to be in the same wheelhouse and level of mutual respect as Ken. Rob's a genuinely great dude with an incredible passion and itch to learn. He's earned this, just as much as Ken did.
I believe the rear plexiglass flew off while filming banging gears a few weeks prior. Probably couldn't get a replacement in time
He didn’t research anything. He impersonated people and stole engineering.
He remembers the last time he drag raced it and thought it a good idea not to have it fitted🤣

Most people don’t understand what it takes to essentially reengineer an entire car. Especially in ways nobody has done.
Hell just building a motor and tune takes dedication and decent knowledge.

I really like this new format. Changing up locations,potentially going to other countries, letting them talk about their vehicles straight to the camera. This is really cool. Seeing Bad Daddy back was super unexpected and I'm so happy for that. Can't wait to see how this moves forward.

I’m so confused. Was that not the format they had before?? At the beginning of the video we were introduced to the car and the owner, they told us about the car, the specs, and whatever details they felt inclined to share. I don’t see much of a format difference personally.

Awesome how all the work Rob put into the traction control, boost by gear etc. made it super effective even in just RWD.
The wildest part is I end up turning off traction control in a later race the same day and it goes even faster 😮 it was keeping me safe but slowing me down a bit

it just kinda got repetitive and then people talking over each other. maybe the old style but only with 1 or 2 people talking to the driver might be better otherwise i like this one over the old chaotic driver interview.
They always answer questions from the crew along with their own intros…
