Easily my favorite horror film of the year so far, very impressive with The First Omen personally.
Such a fantastic performance from Nell Tiger Free.

Watched this as soon as it came up on Hulu! I would've passed it up if Murrell and Stuckman hadnt given it good reviews, totally thought it was just another lame reboot.
Totally agree with you about it dragging it's feet a bit, but i ended up liking it in the end. Some scenes gave me Jacob's Ladder vibes, made me eager for a rewatch 🪜
The monster hand scene.... Thats gonna stick with me for a while 😂

I found it to be derivative. Not one, but two death callbacks from The Omen. Plays out almost exactly like Immaculate. The only good thing about this movie was Nell Tiger Free being a better lead than Sydney Sweeney.

Yea that's totally understandable. I also wish they didn't do the second callback kill, where she jumps off the building. That was the only "horror" scene I found underwhelming, everything else really worked for me.

Sadly, I got bored with it. I love Bill Nighy, so I'm a smidge disappointed.

Have you watched the series Servant? If not you definitely should watch it. I enjoyed this movie up until the Possession rip off scene.

I haven't, I have been curious about it though. Thanks for the recommendation.

Annoying that they chose to retcon things.
