I've found you a few days ago and you have EVERYTHING i need to make oldschool beats. Litteraly your work made me learn how to make effectively old school beats. I am producing 3 years and i switched to old school a year ago, and this is phenomenal ! Thank you !
Paul and Juice used (and still do use) A LOT of horror movie samples, like an insane amount. So some of these sounds you are trying to emulate came directly from movies and soundtracks so I'm sure that helped especially when they didn't back then like we do now have all of the software available. Tritons, Casios and ASRs were probably mostly all they had
ASR-10 goated as a sampler, it’s different from other samples such as MPC in the sense that the sample processing and overlay has a different workflow and allows for consecutive stacking
your vids are so clutch. i've watched some of your boom bap vids ( i rarely made boom bap) and my beats are so clean. Now lately i've been listening to alot of classic memphis music/90's trap and this vid drops. Like it's literally god signal or something for me to make some of those beats.
Thank you so much for this video Navie! Memphis beats are my absolute favorite and to have you make this means so much to me cause I absolutely love your content. Hope to see you cover more on memphis beats in the future! much love and appreciation. This beat is absolutely fire 🔥

This is awesome, it really gives new way to approach beat making. Here's some suggestion for next video like theses: Skrillex (when he was in his prime), Deadmau5, Mac miller, Mike shinoda (linkin Park), the glitch mob ;)
great video and insane beat as always Navie! My only question is what's the estimated bpm for these kinda beats and for the one you made specifically??
