You Are We is their best album. This is more melodic with more clean singing, which is not as heavy but fair play to them because it's hard to maintain screaming/harsh vocals forever.

Honestly, from the years and years I’ve been listening to sleeps, since TNSFN, I’m impressed by these dudes and their creativity and their craftsmanship. I have the highest hope for upcoming album, You Are We wasn’t necessarily my cup of tea, but listening to this and ANTI-SOCIAL, I’ve never been more excited in my life for another Sleeps album. And Aaran absolutely fucking killed it in the cinematography. Absolutely fucking killed it. The Sleeps boys are going to fucking dominate the world

I had to admit I loved songs like Civil Isolation and Steal the sun, but I always felt like there was something missing from a lot of those songs compared to albums like Brainwashed and before, I felt so much energy, I felt a lot of the connections and as well I loved the instrumentals more from back then in my own opinion, a lot of great songs, but none from You Are We topped in that personal selection of mine. And as well a little bit of me felt like it was overrated because Oli was featured
And see, to me, I don't love their older albums quite as much as You Are We. And that is almost entirely due to the fact they had this ridiculous beef with Oli and others in the scene. With You Are We, it truly felt as if the band was making music they loved and were able to move past the bullshit. There's alot of stuff on those earlier records that felt like fluff, like Arches and Woods that just existed for the sake of existing. You never found that on You Are We and it just feels more urgent. I love some of those tracks, like Seven Hills and No Sides, No Enemies, but I feel like the band could have produced them better. There are aspects of the new album older fans probably don't care for, but I'm in the camp that prefers the band to be honest than generic.

Growing up in the UK music scene 06-08 brought us some of the best metalcore/deathcore/hardcore bands in tiny small venue's. Things like Ghostfest/Horrorfest/Hull metal feet. To see this band's where they are today brings massive nostalgia. Just become's more personal these songs with the feelings of all the city's meeting up at weekends and supporting local shows. Thanks for still pushing through and bringing these songs. Honestly, you guys deserve a lot more recognition than you already have.

I went this time last year to see them live In Glasgow, one of the best gigs I've been to in a long time and this song is simply deadly. I Can't wait for more.
I'm eclectic, so listening to A LOT of different genres. But when it comes to metal/metalcore, this WSS is my fav band that often gets me in this awesome aggressive and 100% vibing mood that pumps me and gets me angry enough to go and get the things I want in life. Cheers y'all ❤
