Notice the change in frame geometry... the deck is below the axel height compared to the earlier EcoScmart Metro that I have... that will make it more stable than the metro... and easier to kick ride if the battery dies (if the hub motor is the right type) . Some of the hub drive motors without brushes, produce some drag when pushed without battery power... can this model be pushed freely? The metro can be pushed without any drag, a valuable feature if you manage to drain the battery before reaching your destination.
Very good review and clear explanations. I like the big wheels, it's very important for secure drive. The smallness of the wheels being the main flaw of electric scooters, in my opinion. Problem: there are only a few 12-inch scooters that fold, and now many with 10 inch. The lack of folding of Eco Smart means that in case of problem you can't take the bus, which is the main advantage of a scooter vs bike.
Such a large frame and so short range - They should put larger battery into it. For the moment they claim 12 mile range, and I suppose real world range is something like 65% of that, so maybe 7-9 miles. Thats barely enough to get to work and back, if even that. Designers need to go back to drawing board and seek out options to grow the range to some 25-35 miles (real world) range.
Very helpful because I just ordered it and I’m so excited but one thing I am a little scared is that it might be too big for me do you think that a 13-year-old would fit on this
I would like to see more options in the kickbike format. Promising but this could have done better on speed, range, features. The bike wheels give a lot more options vs standard scooter
Got mine about 3 years ago still goin strong 💪 it’s great!
I got the same one and did a custom spray paint job on it, and it’s super dope👍🏾
