Hi there! Thank you so much for making this awesome review video of the Caroma P7 Escooter! We saw you got hurt while riding, the fall looked really painful, but thanks to god, it didn't hurt the bones. We sincerely hope you feel better now! ❤❤The 14-inch tires of Caroma P7 are still too struggling with bad roads, like mud roads, gravels, etc. Our Caroma P3 which has bigger tires--20'' tires, can have a better riding performance on some off-roads. But for other Caroma P-series scooters, Cement and asphalt roads are the best choices! We appreciate your advice about the seat at the end of the video, we will send this feedback to our product department and see if we can upgrade it to be more comfortable in the near future!
This was a fun review and, fortunately, the fall only resulted in a gnarly scab, a great story, and some video gold! I enjoyed the scooter and will continue to do so. I’ve looked at the P3 and it looks like a great product for trail riding! Thanks for the opportunity to do this video.
Great video. My knee hurt when you took the spill. I hope you were doing OK the next day. I was surprised you didn't pull out a DBA homemade individual first aid kit for your knee. I guess that will be for another video.
I don't have the P7, but I do have the P1, which is 500w full suspension and it comes with monitor that gives you more info then just battery charge. I'm 5' 10" 63 year old feel very confident on it. Have 2 of them and the whole family loves them.
That looks fun but spill did not. I cringed when I saw your knee. That brought back painful childhood memories. I hope your knee isn't too sore or swollen and heals quickly! Fun video!!
Thanks for havingthe best p7 review on youtube! .. I've been watching p1 videos allday. They have a 500 watt motor peak 1200 & they're pretty fast but Wow! Watching you on the p7 I could Immediately see the speed difference! It's crazy crazy too! It's worth spending $80 more
That 750 motor really gives it some kick. I’d opt for the bigger motor any day if for nothing more than the extra mileage you can get. When there’s no pedals to help with motivation you need to max out the distance you’re capable of.
You also have to realize that something with two wheels and a high center of gravity is going to be even more unstable when the two wheels are so small. Yes, the size of the wheels lend to the instability also. I would like to have something like this with two wheels in the back. A narrow width would be great.
I FELL JUST LIKE THAT ON MY FIRST RIDE. I WAS AT A STAND STILL, AND WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO TURN THE SCOOTER AROUND… MY HAND HIT THE THROTTLE AND IT TOOK OFF. I HIT THE PAVEMENT LIKE YOU DID.
Really surprised at the price. Not sure I need it, not sure I wouldn't crash it... at almost 50, don't need crashes... but man, I almost want it just for emergencies, keep it in the back of my car when I go out of town in case I break down. Glad you weren't seriously hurt. 🍻
"Now that I'm an adult, with adult money, I can buy the toys that I want" I feel so seen, as parts for my new homelab get delivered today 😅 I hope you weren't too sore from that spill in the gravel the next day! Looks like a decent scooter though. I've been looking at them for something to tool around town with, if i want to run a quick errand with stuff I can stick in a backpack. I'll keep the Caroma in mind. Also, that thumbnail is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Look into shunting the controller then epoxy it to make it waterproof. Then red varnish the inside of the motor hub and add statorade and cooling fins on the motor to make it waterproof and able to deal with the higher voltage and amp. I would also add a suspension seat post and mechanical hydraulic breaks. Ride them sidewalks . Have fun. I plan on getting this and doing that.

I could see a whole zombie apocalypse movie with the MC on an electric scooter like that. Just a lone scooter rider and his solar backpack weaving their way through zombies.
Just watched the video and read the comments. As a motorcycle rider, I'm wondering how it would respond to counter-steering. That makes turns and swerves so much easier to control.
Because of the wheel size and the straight up and down configuration I’m not sure it would respond to it at all. I went down so fast I couldn’t have done anything to keep it from happening. There’s something to be said for the extra size that comes with a bike or motorcycle.
@@dadbudgetadventures so glad to hear it! That scooter looks like so much fun. Up until last year when I broke my leg I had been wanting to get an electric bike. What is the laws like riding in the city..are you required to have the scooter registered ? insured, is there a scooter cover as accessory to purchase...?what if need be where are they able to go?? Like on a city bus, train or airplane? What about theft protection? The seat is it available in a more orthopedic nature fir someone with a lumbar issue?
The laws are different between states and some cities have stricter laws than others so you’d have to check locally for that answer. Same with city buses and such, each provider is going to be different. As far as accessories, Caroma offers some but you can also shop Amazon for other add-ons.
They are fairly common in Europe, here in Portugal you see them everywhere, even for tourism, but we have a different road system where cars are not "overlords", its implied roads are for people, and all the ways people move about, from on foot to on a car, so even if they are sometimes annoying, we know electric vehicles like these have a right to be in the road, but the legislation for it is still being adapted has we move along since the same legislation applied to bicycles is sometimes not appropriated to these type of vehicles. In urban areas they are very popular, because they are cheaper to "feed", there are charging points everywhere here for electrical vehicles and adapters to do it at home, and good for old towns with whining roads, hilly parts and controlled traffic. They are not very good in rural areas, with, gravel like you said, and irregular pavement, but they are still used in areas with more modern roadways.
