SGUJ WDP4B#40028 led 12042 New Jalpaiguri Howrah Shatabdi and HWH WAP4#22242 led 12024 Patna Howrah Janshatabdi left Talit together and Janshatabdi had the final laugh as Shatabdi was forced to get an unscheduled halt at Barddhaman Junction.My dear friends and fellow railfans Chirag Ganguly and Abhijnan Ray accompanied me in this journey.

No. That jan shatabdi operates on wap7 electric engine where as shatabdi was diesel engine. That shatabdi is no match for that jan shatabdi.
