    kokichi being the mastermind doesnt really make sense tbh😞😞 im pretty sure he hated killing which is why he wanted to end the killing game

      I think it could have been interesting if Kiibo was the “mastermind”, in the sense where Team Danganronpa had him act as not only the eyes of the viewers (as he was originally), but also the bombshell that would break the other final contestants into despair. Kiibo would start off with his purpose unknown, so he would basically be the same as the original up until Chapter 6. His system overrides his code (or something) and he reveals himself in all of his new malicious glory. Except it’s not him anymore, but rather Team Danganronpa and the audience themselves.
      None of the final four (Shuichi, Kaede, Tenko, and Kokichi) really want to kill him, out of the lingering hope that he could still be in there. Kaede doesn’t want any more of her friends to die. Tenko would want Kiibo to keep fighting on if he’s still in there. Even Kokichi, who has teased Kiibo throughout the entire killing game, would probably still be broken after everything that went down. They want to cling onto hope, but they’re still under an overwhelming amount of despair.
      However, Shuichi would be the one to remind them of the truth: They are who they are, and if the audience gets what they want, then many more people will die. They all abandoned their vote, Danganronpa doesn’t continue, and Kiibo deactivates, no longer having any purpose.

      Its v3, I'm pretty sure anyone could be the mastermind. In this timeline I would assume Kokichi takes Tsumugis actual mastermind place.

    Suggestion - What if Hiyoko didn't walk in on Mikan

    Honestly, if tsumugi was executed in chapter one then I’m 99% sure that the killing game would just end instead of continuing as it would need an mastermind, and you can’t just replace tsumugi as the whole thing in the first trial with girls bathroom and the secret “lair” or whatever you call it. If they had the chance to investigate that, then they would know tsumugi is the killer and mastermind.

    • @pyroria
      @pyroria День назад +1

      Even if they did figure it out, tsumugi did taunt the survivors at the end and said something along the lines of ‘and the mastermind was among the last remaining, which is depressing for you’,, it may be a slight reach but I don’t think the killing game would end if she got executed cuz she’d likely fake it as to continue the killing game for the outside world

      @Glowing_Zombie День назад +2

      @ True True, I doubt kokichi would be the mastermind if that was the case though, thats against every single aspect of him.
      Another thing which is about the mastermind but it still bugs me: kokichi manipulated Gonta, to kill Miu because Miu was planning to kill him, and I honestly doubt that’ll be irreversible as Miu was the one who wanted to kill, not kokichi, and Miu would maybe have survived if she didn’t plan to kill kokichi in the start, changing the whole chapter 4 murder case Is almost impossible unless the characters died previously, which if that was the case Miu would’ve targeted someone else, and she had PERFECT knowledge about the virtual world making it an almost impossible case to solve

    • @pyroria
      @pyroria День назад +2

      @ AGREED!! I was so confused why the Miu trial was changed since it was perfectly normal to keep it the same since Shuichi didn’t play a role in it at all. Also I agree that kokichi wouldn’t be a mastermind, it goes against the entire point of his character 😭

      @Glowing_Zombie День назад

      @ YEAHH like after chapter 4 he was set in stone to end it all, it was only his previous lies making the lie believable. Imo, I think the most likely scenario is that the killing games would’ve continued without a mastermind until the devices and robots would stop functioning. I also wanna say this, if tsumugi was dead from chapter 1, and the mastermind was killed then I firmly believe that the flashback lights wouldn’t have been a thing not to mention in chapter 5 only reason kokichi and kaito died, was because of the motivation which came from the flashback light. Equaling in that after chapter 4, the killing game would likely have ended due to loss of motivation and despair abt everything, do correct me if I’m wrong!

    I actually think team danganronpa in universe would make Keebo the mastermind, mostly because it’s good show biz for the end season twist being the camera for the viewers is the mastermind.

    Oh this is fun! An interesting what if. I'll share mine just for fun, you can agree or disagree XD
    Chapter 1
    V3 Trial doesn't happen, if:
    - Monokuma gives time limit motive (everybody forced to participate dies)
    - Shuichi doesn't tell Kaede about there being a mastermind among them
    - Kaede doesn't make her Rutberg killing machine (thus Tsumugi can't kill Rantaro)
    - Rantaro is trying to find a way to stop the KG, but fails (because he doesn't have a card for the card reader)
    Conclusion:
    - Rantaro gets executed, because he's the only one forced to participate (it's his 2nd KG)
    Chapter 2
    V3 Trial doesn't happen, if:
    - insect meet and greed is a success (everybody watches each others motives, thus they know who is most likely to kill (Kirumi), who is most likely to be killed (Ryoma) also they find out about Makis true talent (assassin), Kokichi being a prankster and probably something sinister about Kork)
    - Ryoma might still volunteer to sacrifice himself, but Kaede and Kaito would talk him out of it
    Conclusion:
    - at this moment the only people who could kill is Kirumi or Kork
    - lets say Kirumi kills Ryoma anyway and tries to persuade everyone to let her win
    Chapter 3
    V3 Trial doesn't happen, if:
    - Angie isn't in power as school council president (since Kaede is still alive, her authority prevents that)
    - Angie doesn't get Necronomicon (thus she doesn't go looking for candles)
    - Kork doesn't accidentally kill Angie while preparing his seesaw ritual
    - NOBODY wants to join Korks ritual (Angie didn't die so Himiko won't join, which leads to Tenko not joining. Because the murder didn't happen, Kokichi won't find any interest in joining and Keebo won't go alone)
    Conclusion:
    - Kork will have to find another way to kill
    - Kork will probably kill Tenko or Himiko (his case won't be as obvious, if he fails to do his seesaw ritual)
    Chapter 4
    V3 Trial doesn't happen, if:
    - Kokichi snatches the motive card and still asks Miu to invent electrobombs, electrohammers and master remote control
    - Kokichi, using the electrohammer gets through the underground passage and sees the outside world (for a while he falls into despair, but soon enough realises, that showing this to everybody is the best way to stop the KG)
    - Miu doesn't plan to kill Kokichi (thus no virtual world)
    Conclusion:
    - Kokichi convinces Kaede to convince everyone to use elektrohammers and try escaping through the underground passage
    - Everyone sees the outside world and loses their motive to escape
    - Monokuma might kill Kokichi for that, thus breaking his own rule
    Chapter 5
    V3 trial doesn't happen, if:
    - Tsumugi has no one she could make the enemy of the group, thus her plan about Hopes Peak Akademy doesn't happen
    Conclusion:
    - Tsumugi, thanks to her impatience, sees that everything is falling apart. Time passes and she starts making mistakes
    - Shuichi manages to figure out that Tsumugi is the mastermind
    - trial 06 happens (nobody votes)
    - Kaito dies of his illness after the trial
    - Tsumugi also dies
    - Keebo blows up, destroying the end wall
    Survivors: Kaede, Shuichi, Maki, Gonta, Miu, Angie and either Tenko or Himiko (depends on who Kork killed)
    Characters who are always going to die: Rantaro (because of the ch 01 motive), Kirumi (because she thinks, she's prime minister of Japan), Ryoma (because he has no reason to live), Kork (because sIsTeR), Kokichi (because he tries to break the KG), Kaito (because of his illness), Tsumugi (because she is the mastermind) and Keebo (to break the end wall)
    THE END

    I feel like Keebo would be the mastermind but it would be against his will with team Danganronpa controlling him and Kokichi would probably sacrifice himself

  • @Nobody-el2eb
    @Nobody-el2eb День назад

    I think that the role of mastermind in this AU shouldn't go to Kokichi, but one of 2 other people:
    Option 1- Keebo, he is the camera of the killing game so Team DR could hack him so the game could have a mastermind, with him blowing himself up to save the remaining 4.
    or Option 2- Tsumugi, she could've easily faked her execution in chapter 1 so she could come back at the end leading to her actual death and Keebo blowing himself up to save the remaining 4 again.

    “What if kaede and Shuichi survived”
    I’d be happy, Shuichi is my favorite character in Danganronpa, we get to see him have his arc in a way, and we also get to see Kaede do stuff, these 2 would work very well together

    I do not feel comfortable with the idea of Himiko dying so early on. I never realized just how much weight she has in the game as a character: Out of the final 7, Maki and Kaito fulfill the obligatory love interests quota, Kiibo and Tsumugi are there because the storyline needs them to progress, Kokichi is basically a red herring for the mastermind all game long and Suichi is the character we control. Himiko is the only finale character in the game that's actually going through a real character development journey. She is indirectly almost the protagonist of the game, somewhat.
