I do kinda wish that we would have gotten 2 routes. One where we play as Shuichi and one as Kaede. Depending on whether or not we protect Shuichi, we could have had a shock twist of: Everyone votes for Shuichi ignoring Kaede's pleas or the standard route. Former could be met with Monokuma surprisingly saying they were right but Kaede keeps the truth a secret until the final trial that something was off where we get the usual reveal.

Danganronpa V2 hoo boy : Mahiru, Mikan, Impostor, Nekomaru, Hiyoko (after her char development) Peko Pekoyama, so much potential wasted there. Danganronpa V3: thankfuly this one doesn't suffer from "kill the most interesting char as much as 2 but still" : Kirumi, Ryoma, KAEDE, Rantaro (like holy hell he started of as someone who could potentially make a great character but noo) Tenko (yes i like her) A bit of a long post but i wanna point out how much of a waste this is for such amazingly well thought unique designs for characters just to be used for one or two trials and simply deleting them forever like they actually didn't matter, it just baffles me.

This fits for my AU where Kaede survives, if you’re curious about the death order, it goes like this, Prologue You start off as Shuichi, Kaede is the support. Chapter 1 Shuichi kills Tsumugi, as he decides to stalk Rantaro because he’s genuinely convinced he’s the mastermind, and Tsumugi comes out with a sledgehammer, tries swinging and Rantaro, but Shuichi pushes him out of the way, and they apprehend her, Rantaro goes into the door, but it closes behind him and he can’t get back, so he escapes through the girls bathroom, and is spotted by Tenko and Miu, and he runs away which they both assume is because he’s a pervert or something. (Miu is fine with it, but Tenko isn’t.) Shuichi left alone with her, the door is locked so Rantaro didn’t have the chance to leave, and Tsumugi tries to kill Shuichi, and he hits her with the sledgehammer in self defense, killing her instantly. He forgets about everything that happened mostly, only fragments of it come into his mind as the trial progresses, and once he figures out what happens, in unison, Kaede also figures it out, but she doesn’t want to let go of Shuichi, and give into the despair of the truth. Shuichi says, “There is no other way,” as he selects himself. Then it shows the cutscene of Kaede and Shuichi. This starts Kaede’s arc of feeling like her method of trying to end the killing game has been in vain, and she could have somehow done something meaningful to save everyone, but Shuichi says that even if he dies, she could still find a way to help everyone survive. She says something like, “I can’t do this, Shuichi. He simply says, “You taught me to fight for the truth, but I need you to fight for my truth.”And that, “no matter what happens, she needs to lead you need to lead everybody to the truth.”She accepts this. The perspective changes to Kaede, and she becomes the protagonist. She closes her eyes and says, “Everyone, I think Shuichi is the culprit.” Chapter 2 Rantaro sort of takes the support role, as he cared for Shuichi a lot as well. They both bond over it. Anyways, a party ensues hosted by Angie and Kirumi, who want to both lift their spirits together, after Kaede plays the piano for everyone, she feels a little better. Monodam ruins this hope by talking about how he forgot to tell some of them about the next motive, which mostly consists of what they call, “Hallucinations.”He explains it’s rules and how each night they will see and hear things that aren’t real, and it’s been happening already. They just didn’t notice. Kokichi starts making jokes about how their food is actually made of one of their missing classmates, it stresses everyone out, and Kaede says, “Shut up, Kokichi!” And he becomes silent. Kaede’s done with a lot of this. Monodam tries to continue on the logistics, and how it will start infecting their minds, telling them things they don’t want to hear, and also it’s sometimes a shared hallucination if someone says something about what they are experiencing, and it gradually worsens more and more until they are all pushed to murder. He tells everyone that they all have insecurities, and that he’s going to keep on adding to them until they all crack under the pressure. Some people leave, but Rantaro and others stay. Tenko’s still over attached to Himiko, and then the lights start flickering, and they all start looking outside. And they see a tall woman in white wearing a dress, she stares in the distance, and eventually the light near her disappears, and so does she. Everyone starts freaking out, and they all claim to start hearing voices. Ryoma says he’s hearing voices of his dead partner, and all the people he’s killed telling him to end it all, and Angie starts hearing what she thinks is Atua, but he isn’t the same. She starts crying, and leaves and everyone slowly starts going away. Kaede sees hallucinations too, of Shuichi, Tsumugi, and her sister. Everyone leaves and when they wake up, they try to experience the day more normally, but on occasion they hear things that aren’t real, or they hear “A body has been discovered!” On the intercom, and it’s just a hallucination. Angie especially seems very afraid, as she believes she displeased Atua, and Korekiyo tells her that Atua is just another fake voice in her head. Angie says something about his sister in response, like saying, “Oh, tell your dead sister I said hi the next time you hear her.” And she walks out, and Korekiyo also starts freaking out. It’s like the grape house, except more confusing. Kaede gets disoriented a lot, and gets Tenko and Himiko mixed up, and she eventually just walks back and tries to sleep. When she wakes up, she sees Rantaro and Himiko asking her to get up, and she realizes she’s been asleep for a while. The hallucinations stop, but she still doesn’t trust anything happening around her. She walks to the kitchen with them both, Kirumi made everyone food, Maki is still cold and Kaede tries to talk to her about the motive, and anything she heard from some of the voices, Maki says she doesn’t know or care, and Kaede asks why she’s so indifferent towards the voices, and Maki replies that it’s none of her business, and that they aren’t friends. She tries walking away, but Kaede grabs her hand and says, “Then maybe we should try knowing each other more.” Then Maki looks at her, and says, “Do you want to di-“ and a body discovery announcement occurs, saying to meet in the pool area. Kaede says, “Oh my god, wait- Maki!” But Maki leaves without saying another word. Her and everyone else meets at the pool, and they gently open the door, inside they find the body of Korekiyo Shinguji, floating on some sort of makeshift raft, with multiple stab wounds all over his chest, and his hand and parts of his hair are stapled onto a plank of wood, holding everything together. Anyways the culprit is Tenko, Basically what happened is Korekiyo kept on hearing voices from his sister saying to send more friends to her, and she also gave him a plan to say hello to everyone before killing, but due to disorientation, he got Angie and Tenko mixed up, and sent it to Tenko. Tenko read the note and met up at the desired place, Korekiyo had a butterfly knife from his lab, and Tenko told him that she was sorry about his sister, and Korekiyo replied, “Do you want to meet her?” And Tenko got confused, and he charged at her, but she’s the Ultimate Akido Master and broke his arm, and she immediately pinned him down, and with his other arm, he pulled her hair leaving some of it behind at the crime scene, which everyone assumed was Korekiyo’s because he was the victim, but it was in similar color to Tenko, and stuff. She gets the upper hand and he says something that pushes her over the edge. “I won’t stop at anything until I’ve sent 100 girls to my sister in the afterlife. No matter how many times you subdue me, or where you trap me, I’ll always find a way to send her friends. Angie was my main target, but it seems I should have set my target on someone more powerless.. someone like that little friend of yours.. Himiko.” Tenko in a fit of blinded rage stabs him to death, for not only threatening Angie and Himiko, but also for killing 97 other innocent people. She panically tries to hide evidence, and immediately tries forging an alibi by saying she was out jogging when this happened, and she hid the note in one of his pockets, and threw the Knife in the pool, and she constructed a makeshift raft for him to float on. Then she left, and hours later in the morning, everyone found the body. It would be sad for her, and even sadder for Himiko. She lost her muscular gay girlfriend.(Kiyotaka would probably be like, “first time, huh?” Cuz he lost is gay muscular boyfriend.) Also side note this is WAY too long, I’ll explain the rest if anyone wants to know.

Personally i would've loved that kaede stay as a protag than copypaste kirigiri over here. Since we already have someone who takes the role of detective in V3 i dont understand why the devs changed it from kaede to shuichi tbh

There's no competing with it in my opinion (though there are drawbacks too, like the price. Having said that, it's also pretty easy to crack, but you didn't hear that from me). It’s like the grape house, except more confusing. Kaede gets disoriented a lot, and gets Tenko and Himiko mixed up, and she eventually just walks back and tries to sleep. When she wakes up, she sees Rantaro and Himiko asking her to get up, and she realizes she’s been asleep for a while. The hallucinations stop, but she still doesn’t trust anything happening around her. She walks to the kitchen with them both, Kirumi made everyone food, Maki is still cold and Kaede tries to talk to her about the motive, and anything she heard from some of the voices, Maki says she doesn’t know or care, and Kaede asks why she’s so indifferent towards the voices, and Maki replies that it’s none of her business, and that they aren’t friends. She tries walking away, but Kaede grabs her hand and says, “Then maybe we should try knowing each other more.” Then Maki looks at her, and says, “Do you want to di-“ and a body discovery announcement occurs, saying to meet in the pool area. Kaede says, “Oh my god, wait- Maki!” But Maki leaves without saying another word. Her and everyone else meets at the pool, and they gently open the door, inside they find the body of Korekiyo Shinguji, floating on some sort of makeshift raft, with multiple stab wounds all over his chest, and his hand and parts of his hair are stapled onto a plank of wood, holding everything together. Anyways the culprit is Tenko, Basically what happened is Korekiyo kept on hearing voices from his sister saying to send more friends to her, and she also gave him a plan to say hello to everyone before killing, but due to disorientation, he got Angie and Tenko mixed up, and sent it to Tenko. Tenko read the note and met up at the desired place, Korekiyo had a butterfly knife from his lab, and Tenko told him that she was sorry about his sister, and Korekiyo replied, “Do you want to meet her?” And Tenko got confused, and he charged at her, but she’s the Ultimate Akido Master and broke his arm, and she immediately pinned him down, and with his other arm, he pulled her hair leaving some of it behind at the crime scene, which everyone assumed was Korekiyo’s because he was the victim, but it was in similar color to Tenko, and stuff. She gets the upper hand and he says something that pushes her over the edge. “I won’t stop at anything until I’ve sent 100 girls to my sister in the afterlife. No matter how many times you subdue me, or where you trap me, I’ll always find a way to send her friends. Angie was my main target, but it seems I should have set my target on someone more powerless.. someone like that little friend of yours.. Himiko.”
Tenko in a fit of blinded rage stabs him to death, for not only threatening Angie and Himiko, but also for killing 97 other innocent people. She panically tries to hide evidence, and immediately tries forging an alibi by saying she was out jogging when this happened, and she hid the note in one of his pockets, and threw the Knife in the pool, and she constructed a makeshift raft for him to float on. Then she left, and hours later in the morning, everyone found the body. It would be sad for her, and even sadder for Himiko. She lost her muscular gay girlfriend.(Kiyotaka would probably be like, “first time, huh?” Cuz he lost is gay muscular boyfriend.)
Also side note this is WAY too long, I’ll explain the rest if anyone wants to know.

Ah I see! I once experimented with AAE, (the free trial version) and sadly, I gave up only a week after trying it. It was a lot of work and I felt massively out of my depth. But now that I've seen the kind of stuff it can be used for, maybe I should consider giving it another try?

@@BatHunterofDevon yeah, it's worth a shot! I will say that while it took me a while to get the hang of it, I've never felt more powerful than when I finally did. There's no competing with it in my opinion (though there are drawbacks too, like the price. Having said that, it's also pretty easy to crack, but you didn't hear that from me). Either way, good luck if you try it out!
