Abyss is one of the pro wrestlers I grew up watching. HE IS A BEAST. So long Aces and Eights.

I sort of miss the times when TNA would have Joseph Park sort of "black out" and go all Abyss sort of like Bruce Banner in the Increbile Hulk. But they've apparently left that for good.

I never understood it til 2 years ago when Immortal was gaining power and becoming unstoppable, dominating every corner of TNA -- it's following the story and characters that gets me through. Also I know film stunts are fake but I still enjoy them. Same goes for wrestling :)

i think that return would of had a bigger pop if it was his old theme. there was something about that theme that just gave you goosebumps and you knew business was about to pick up.

Good return from Abyss. It's crazy how I was wondering when Abys would come back while watching earlier that same episode lol. Also it wouldn't hurt if he lost some weight, his moves didn't look as clean as in the past. But maybe now he can portray both characters at the same time, it'll be great tv to see how that works out
Glad to see "The Monster" Abyss back! There were only two things that Hogans guy could be 1) A returning guy already under contract or 2) A name we know but had never been with TNA before. But I was expecting it to be Jeff Hardy (boring) or Matt Morgan turning face to help Hogan after all or maybe even D-Lo turing on Aces & 8's after getting kicked out. But I did think of Abyss, just thought it would be a longshot to see him back as that character. Either way it was cool to see.

Wow really. For you information the first time I turned on TNA was last year. Before that I'd had only watch WWE. I'm not saying this product is even in the top three products of all time, but it is more entertaining than anything other wrestling show on tv. And thats a fact brother! haha
I was thinking maybe Jeff Hardy would come back and be partner but awesome that Abyss is back and Suicide coming soon
My personal comment is it is about damn time they brought back The Monster, Abyss. He was a big part of the early days of TNA, a grand slam champion in TNA, and is certainly a plus to be "Team TNA" if they arent using Styles for now. The only issue I have with it is that they cut the intro out of his music (although I prefer his old theme), he really had no time to train for the return, and he is still off balance in the ring b/c of the Park gig. No less, great to have him back around. WB Abyss.
I wish Abyss would have joined the Main Event Mafia. Just seeing Abyss in a suit would have blown my mind. Not as Joseph Parks but as Abyss would have been amazing in the Main Event Mafia.

The only person on commentary that I can stand is the professor Mike Tenay. He sounded like a true fan when Abyss returned. Also, if they used Abyss's old theme music, I think that pop would HUGE!

I love that Abyss is back but whats the deal with his hair and teeth when he was Joseph Park and now when he's Abyss? Besides that, Welcome Back Monster.
I like the Abyss Gimmick. When it started it was a mix between Mankind and Kane. I only wish Abyss would gain some muscles and lose some fat. It would make him look more like Monster.

this is the best thing tna could have done. I thought it was Jeff hardy which would have been ok but abyss is was the more pleasant surprise . I think the crowd was like ' who's music is that?' But once abyss tear shit apart, they were behind it !!

Actually Chris Parks the person who portrays Abyss was portraying a different character named "Joseph Parks", Abyss' lawyer brother who came looking for Abyss after he disappeared. Basically he was supposed to be an underdog character learning how to wrestle and always wore a windbreaker suite while wrestling.
Love abyss.
Whether he's portraying the monster or the attorney he still one of my favorite wrestlers of all time in tna.
Because it is geting more and more exciting every week.
