Rebuilding Traxxas 2075 Servo

In this video I show how easy it is to replace plastic gears to save a little scratch...New servo costs about $35.00 and the rebuild kit cost is $4.00. You do the math!

I received a new gear Kit from Traxxas because my brand new slash, new to the point that just to use it I obviously had to unwrap the factory package, and just on the 2nd day of using it, the damn servo started acting up so damn bad, and the new gears I got will not fit in it yet, but now that I’ve watched your video those new gears will absolutely go in. And of course, on only the 2nd fucking day, the brushed motor died out. Idk what the hell I should do next, but shit I should just convert it to brushless. I am also very nice towards driving it, cause all it’s seen is dirt and grass. I always drive it with care, I should not be having this fucking motor problem. Shit, if I spent a couple hundred on the slash, the motor should at least be reliable for a little bit. Once again, thank you so much for posting this video. You’re going to help so many just by posting these helpful videos.

8:00 argh you skipped the part I was interested in lol does the pot limiting stud go on the inside of the outside? I'm thinking outside otherwise movement too limited (I E. The thing that keeps it from going "too left" or "too right"

I have a Traxxas 2075 servo an something in the center part has come loose ! Sounds like a screw or a pin . Is there a way you can remove the circuit board without breaking something ?

Took the gears out of a fried savox servo on a scx10 I bought and the metal gears fit right in the traxxas 2075

Savox metal servo gear set and bearings is better at 12 bucks little more expensive but the gears are METAL part number sav-sg-sw0231mg

Bought a set to put in traxxas servo #2075, will NOT work. Main gear that turns servo horn cannot be installed in center position

Wish they had a metal gear upgrade. Instead of having to buy a entire new servo. Traxxas erevo 2.0. Both stripped within the first 10 minutes of unboxing. No recks or hard hits. Just plastic teeth isn’t made perfect every time. And the other servo didn’t have but a pea sized spot of grease.
