You did an amazing job! I ordered a 14x20 from Sam's Club. It should be here tomorrow. My wife and I are going to install it ourselves. Thanks for the video. It really boosted my wife's confidence 😊
@@torreyhill6876 I see,you bought the one not same as the one from the video,I bought one today from Costco 1200,and it’s same as the one in the video, good luck your installation and me too
@AroundtheHouse we should be through late today. We had to go on Angie's List and hire a handyman to help. He's here now finishing up. He only charged $200.00. He's doing an amazing job! My wife and I are still helping. He had one suggestion, would grill out 🤣💯
@@AroundtheHouse Does it need some kind of sealant for protection? I wonder what the maintenance will be like. I just bought a similar one not put together yet. I can’t wait!
I just got done with all of my concrete over the past two weeks and I’m building a 12 x 20 tomorrow and everything is set up…. Thank you so very very much for the instructional video!!!!
Make sure to grab one of those metal fold up ladders they come in real handy for everything around the house to include this-- and thank you so much for the clamps because I was actually going to use tiedown straps since I will be going at it alone
I have debated about buying one of these gazebos a few times at Sam’s Club. They look great but I did not know if the quality was good or if the parts went together without too much of a struggle. Thank you for your review of such a product and for giving us some tips on its construction.
Thank you so much for talking about needing more people for the roof and when you did your pull up --I absolutely lost it!!!! Girls will always be girls lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🫡🇺🇸
My old gazebo built back in late 80s is still going strong shingle roof lattes side so nice I wish I could put pics on here...these nowadays are glorified open tents or ownengs
Nice job ,looks great but I like the Backyard Discovery, Arlington better, costs an extra 500 or more depending on where you by it and comes with outdoor power outlets, anyways great job.
You definitely want to anchor it! I didn’t in the video but I put the anchors in right after. We get some high winds here and I’m sure it would have gone. With the anchors though it held great.
8:30 That bottom trim should probably be under the roof panel, “shingle” style. I saw it at Costco but my wife has not thankfully. My only concern was not knowing the species of wood or how well it would last.
There’s a lot of good things I could say about you but I’ll just say this: I hope your husband knows what kind of a treasure he has being married to you. You definitely have it all.
Please watch whenever you’re working with wood and working with tools you can put some wristbands on as well to support your wrists and watch your jewelry and your wrist watches as they could get damaged….
Make sure to get yourself some military kneepads and to get a set of gloves and just cut the tips of the fingers of the gloves off to protect your hands and your knees….

How much it’s cost at Sam’s?
@mechafish168 12×20. It was $3,889.00. It was an open box and we paid $2999.00. I can't wait until we get it put together.

You’re welcome, have fun with your new gazebo this summer

Wow! That is very nice and great size! Plenty of room for you and guests to move around! Thanks for walking us through the project! Ken
You bet!

You are a wizard! Excellent job!!
TV mount for gazebo that fits perfectly for rhe yardistry gazebo models is the ZeboZAP
Love the ZeboZAP ❤❤❤
Ditto. Best gazebo tv mount.
Great tip, thanks
Nicely done and well narrated.
Thank you kindly!
You're my newest hero. You video was excellent and gave me the confidence to take this on. Thank you.
Super job. Looks great. Congratulations.! Thinking of doing something similar at my place. You made it look easy.
Thanks for sharing! You did a great job!
Thanks for watching!

Awesome job and great vid. Cheers from NZ
I think your husband is a very lucky guy . Nice work
Thanks, I'll make sure to let him know

You’re welcome. Although I’ve only had it up for a month or so, I would definitely recommend it. 😊
How much does it cost?
And if concrete screws are not feasible you can also use anchors as well….
Thanks again and have a great summer!!!!!!!
How long did it actually take? I may have missed the final time.
I can’t remember if I said. It took me a few days but I wasn’t able to commit a full 8 hours a day on it and most of it was just me.
Appreciate the vid. Putting ours up tomorrow.
Where did u buy those heaters what brand are they
Great video. Will help me alot. Thanks
It’s beautiful! What size is this one?

What about anchoring to the floor?
My old gazebo built back in late 80s is still going strong shingle roof lattes side so nice I wish I could put pics on here...these nowadays are glorified open tents or ownengs
That’s great, you must have done a great job on it
Looks great. Where did you buy the heater ?
The heaters were in the barn when we bought the house.
Can we have the name and model # of heaters
Nice job ,looks great but I like the Backyard Discovery, Arlington better, costs an extra 500 or more depending on where you by it and comes with outdoor power outlets, anyways great job.
U go girl.. Beautiful
My dad bought this without realizing how much work it would take to build
I hear you
I added a TV on the post with ZeboZAP in less than 10 minute with our drilling.
Is anchoring down the gazebo unnecessary? Has it seen high winds?
You definitely want to anchor it! I didn’t in the video but I put the anchors in right after. We get some high winds here and I’m sure it would have gone. With the anchors though it held great.
If you want to use some plastic routing clamps for your cord for your heaters they’re row easy and they make it look really nice….

Not per the official videos and instructions
Did you have to predrill the holes
Good question, all holes were pre drilled
Where did you get the heaters from? I could use those in our Gazebo.
I’m actually not sure where those came from. They were in our barn when we moved in. Nice to have on cold days though for sure
@@AroundtheHouse ok thanks I ordered some from Home Depot
its just free standing or did you manage to bolt into concrete? video doesnt show
I bolted it into the concrete. I didn’t show it because I was waiting on my concrete bit. Very important to bolt it down though 😊
you can use any of 4 posts to attach with long and short beams , right ?
I don’t remember, sorry about that. I want to say yes but probably good to check over the directions just in case.
Amzing
Be sure to put your drip edge under the roof panel not on top. It will work better that way. Nice job on the rest of the assembly .
There are other videos on YT and it took 3-4 people to put this together.
What size?
It’s the 12 x 14
Super
No shoes? Brilliant
There’s a lot of good things I could say about you but I’ll just say this: I hope your husband knows what kind of a treasure he has being married to you. You definitely have it all.
Haha, thanks, I'll let him know
Please watch whenever you’re working with wood and working with tools you can put some wristbands on as well to support your wrists and watch your jewelry and your wrist watches as they could get damaged….
Thats G s#it ! Good stuff
Just make sure you get those concrete screws into each corner…. 😊
Make sure to get yourself some military kneepads and to get a set of gloves and just cut the tips of the fingers of the gloves off to protect your hands and your knees….
Is that the Nigerian from the Jesse smollet hoax?
No this is the Yardistry gazebo from Costco. I would highly recommend it
Gazebos aren't what they use to be lol....
its called assembling not building.
