  • For the next part of our patio project I bought a Costco gazebo and built it. In this video I will walk you through my process and what I think of it. I will also update this after the winter to let you know how it holds up over time and through snow.
I am not an expert or a teacher but enjoy sharing my experiences with others.

I have debated about buying one of these gazebos a few times at Sam’s Club. They look great but I did not know if the quality was good or if the parts went together without too much of a struggle. Thank you for your review of such a product and for giving us some tips on its construction.

8:30 That bottom trim should probably be under the roof panel, “shingle” style. I saw it at Costco but my wife has not thankfully. My only concern was not knowing the species of wood or how well it would last.

You definitely want to anchor it! I didn’t in the video but I put the anchors in right after. We get some high winds here and I’m sure it would have gone. With the anchors though it held great.
