Tips for anyone who wants to use this as an actual sword: add suports on the blades edge to prevent the cardboard from chipping uppon inpact and do desame on the guard.
YEESSSS…. i’m so glad someone said this to me finally that was my whole goal. In order to grow my RUclips channel I decided which route to take and I thought why not build cardboard creations, except they’re all things that aren’t very popular.
Thanks and that’s a great point… but I wasn’t talking about me being popular I mean like the search results most people just type in “cardboard armor” or som like that….. which I do have results for! But I also build lesser popular things like great swords
@@MarksWorkshopcrft well that's what's good, if every content creator followed the mainstream media there would no way to look to your specific needs, and the only "how to make cardboard greatsword" searches that showed up weren't even how to's just showing others their own swords, that weren't even cardboard, they were real greatswords...but you came to the rescue and saved my boredom from that weekend 😅
i fell like your going to enter blacksmithing and build armor and swords out of steel and other metal Also this is an awsome build keep up the good work
Oh sorry for the late response, I have made crossbow videos before, at least three. But none of them are step by step processes. In fact they were me learning how to get as good as I am now. I will try to do one in the future
I should have sealed it with like plasti- dip or spackle on the cracks, but I did not. I use duct, tape and hot glue. The paint I used was silver metallic spray, paint, and then spray paint for the handle.
You should definitely build a cardboard Time Machine so that we can make wearing armor sets around a normalized thing 😂
Oh shoot I didn’t think about that! Lemme get on that.

Also make sure the pint is not sharp or has a hard support to avoid or minimalize the risk of injuring your friend when accidentaly thrusting.
Oh my god i was actually just looking for this and couldn't find any good tutorials, and the , here i am now..watching this
