@@Dhruv-qw7jf Exactly. On Arrow, especially in the earlier seasons, Oliver was by far the smartest character. Sure Felicity was easily the most intelligent from an IQ standpoint, but Oliver was the genius when it came to how to wage his war as a vigilante, so much so that at times relying on his own plans rather than those of others was the only viable option. A great example in my opinion is when he tricks Slade into thinking he's one step ahead and luring him into a trap. It was Felicity's idea, but that's all it was for her. An idea. Oliver turned it into a plan and did not even tell her in order to ensure she had a genuine reaction on camera that would fool Slade as well. Another great example is in Season 3 when he completely abandons his team and actively fights against them as part of his plan to trick Ra's al Ghul into believing he switched sides. Oliver keeping his team in the dark was the only way to persuade Ra's, as it would provoke them into genuinely fighting against him. He would not be fooled by a half measure, which he easily would have discovered if Team Arrow was not genuinely trying to defeat Oliver.
And what did he mean by "now I know what time period you're from!" Um, how did he not already know? The Flash is always on the news, he could've easily looked it up.
Polaris Castillo Well for much of his beginnings the flash wasn’t fully accepted as a thing. The mayor blocked any information of meta humans from the public, the only place to get info are theory’s on a blog. And even than how much of that is accurate.
How did Barry learn how to throw lightning? In Earth Prime's timeline, when he faced off with the Pied Piper, he threw lightning which was in season 1. This means that he did not learn it from Zoom, but instead from an alternate method. An easy conclusion is Eobard teaching him it, but why?
Another easy conclusion. It’s shown multiple times the original timeline of Barry was wayyyy better than this one and did stuff way faster so he probably taught himself
all earths merged into 1 earth post crisis, so it's possible that the storylines of both S1 and S2 happened simultaneously on Earth Prime. That WOULD mean it'd be harder for jay to fool Barry when he himself just got his powers, but it's believable that things happened differently enough so that he got the lightning throw early
bruh go onto Netflix and season two and there should be an episode with reverse flash going to random years to try to figure out about when Barry became flash, but Barry captures eobard and holds him in one of the jails. but this makes Cisco not exist because eobard wasn't able to go back and recruit Cisco as Wells. this makes Barry have to help reverse flash get back to his own timeline, but Barry reveals himself to reverse flash to set everything in motion. its been a while since I've seen the actual episode, so the exact details might be wrong. I know that you kind of go over this, but there was more right after that episode.
how to no CF if I remember correctly Barry doesn’t actually reveal himself to thawne, Harry mentions that it was thawnes origin and that was the moment where he learned more about the flash and Harrison Wells abs there was nothing they could do to change or stop that
Oh my goodness, not only a new Comics video - but about Eobard Thawne! A perfect combination. Did you get a new microphone? This audio seems more crisp.
I’ve just been recently wondering so in the flash season 4 of flash time Cisco was not able to open a breach to a dead earth but how was Jesse able to go to earth 3 and during flash time since a breach would not have enough time to form. I hope u can see this comment and see if u can answer my question. Ty!
He figured it out that one time he went back in time in season 2 I think. Harry said that’s where his timeline starts. Where he learns about Joe, Barry, and everyone else.
My question is. How did Barry know how to use a lighting bolt when he was fighting pied piper in this timeline. I thought Zoom taught him that. And it was really early in his career too. I mean maybe Cisco but idk.
I think it might have been even simpler. Eobard explains that he became a speedster by researching the Flash and reverse engineering the process from the information he uncovered about the Flash's past. He had likely already believed that the Flash had been created by exposure to dark matter and lightning. So what was the largest known incident of dark matter leaking into the atmosphere in Central City? The launch of Harrison Wells' particle accelerator. Thawne would just need to travel to a time period shortly after that happened and look at social media, the news and police records if he could access them. There would be a list of people who had been hospitalised due to the accident. Eobard then just has to jump a few years in the future, to a time when the Flash is still active and check up on each and every one of them. All it would require is finding their home address and doing a stakeout. Given that Thawne is also a speedster, he would be able to spot Barry moving in and out of his home, whereas for others he moves too fast to see. The key problem with this whole process is that given how fast Future Barry appeared to defend his past self, he was already aware Thawne was trying to discover his identity and would try to find and stop him. So the closer Thawne got, the more he would have to fight the Flash, culminating in when he finally knew who Barry was and likely realised it in the middle of a fight.
How does Thawne have a problem with the flash if he is from centuries in the future I mean flash disappeared after 4 years in 2024 WHY does Thawne have a problem with him and what is his problem, the show never explained these things it just showed us that reverse flash has a personal vendetta against the flash Can someone please explain it to me
I can tell you the mid-90s explanation. It's the one I like the most I don't know if its been retconned since but here it is. In the mid-90s Barry Allen was dead from Crisis back in 85. Wally West had been the Flash since then. During this time it is common knowledge that Professor Zoom, Barry's Greatest Enemy is a man named Eobard Thawne from the distant future and that he was killed by The Flash to prevent Zoom from taking another life. Fast forward centuries into the future. There a man named Eobard Thawne lives in a time without crime and without superheroes. It's a boring time in history and he idolizes the troubled period of the 20th century when superheroes were active. None more so than his personal hero The Flash. Growing up he idolizes the man collecting memorabilia and basically rebuilding the long forgotten Flash museum in his own home using long forgotten relics. At this time he is so in love with Barry that he wants to be him. Using his generation's version of plastic surgery he alters his face to match Barry's. After that he spends a fortune recreating the accident that gave Barry his powers. Now he can be just like his hero. One of his most precious relics is a damaged book written about the Flash by Iris West-Allen. A Book that told him who Barry was but not who Zoom was. Then one day he finds the Holy Grail of Flash Collectibles. He finds Barry's Cosmic Treadmill. (in the comics Barry can't time travel with the same accuracy and the treadmill helps ensure he goes exactly when and where he intends to) Thawne decides to grab the book hop on the treadmill and go back in time to actually meet his hero. The treadmill is damaged from age though and spits him out years after Barry's death. Not only that the journey leaves him confused and mentally unstable. Trying to find something familiar he stumbles into the flash museum and starts to remember himself and his purpose. As he's making his way through the museum seeing the relics in much better condition than they are in his time he stumbles into the rogues gallery. Excited he works his way through and finally there it is the Professor Zoom exhibit he will finally see the identity of his hero's greatest foe. He sees his own name. It breaks him. His mind snaps. For the next few months he becomes convinced that he IS Barry Allen The Flash returned from death. Everyone else thinks so too until his own natural ruthlessness takes hold. Wally figures him out and forces Thawne to realize who he is. Tricking Thawne into returning to his own time. Thawne addled by the return trip suppresses the memory of his own death but not the hatred of The Flash.
Ugh... yet another issue gets pointed out with the time travel of RF. His appearance in S2 is assumed to be the original timeline Thawne, but he is visiting Timeline 2b Barry in S2, which is about 5 years earlier than the original timeline Barry supposedly got powers... oh no... I've gone crosseyed.
Mr Mxyzptlk needs to show Barry sometime how the original timeline went via the fifth dimension, like he did on Supergirl with Kara's story. Since they're on the same Earth, this should be a possibility.
Short and more simple version: that eobard has been fighting Barry for so long that he just kinda figured it out after a while so he met our Barry and already knew.
If Eobard is like 100+ years after the TV Show then Barry is probably long dead and he’s actually a historical figure and everyone learns his identity and his history.
Remember in season 2 ep 11 Harry said “Thawne knows about you. Right here. Right now. This is where he learns about you.”? ruclips.net/video/008DcLLAN0g/видео.html
@@bigclay8479 Barry never revealed himself though. He probably meant he knows about you as the flash. Remember, Eobard didn't know what time period Flash is from, so Harry is just saying, this is where he finds out about you(your time period).
When Thawne said he knows what timeline flash is from it was 2016. So now Thawne thinks that flash is from 2016 but in the og timeline flash got his power in 2020. So it is not the og reverse flash. That means whenever Thawne mentioned the year 2020 now he would mention the year 2014, timeline is messed again and the timeline in which the show takes place is the og timeline now. Man all those things really messed up with my brain🤯
@@darshanasmoro9827 you seem pretty determined to tell everyone there is no og timeline, when there clearly is. In the original timeline thr particle accelerator goes off in 2020, and 4 years later the flash vanished in crisis. Thawne killing barry's mom changed time. Making the new accelerator explosion in 2014 and crisis to happen in 2020 Thawne tells harrison he needs the explosion to happen sooner, because he needs the flashes speedforce to return to his time, but in the end og thawne is defeated before the changes reach his time. Also, eobard is a genius in HIS time, soooo. And devoe figured out barry’s identity through statistics and etc. and rathaway as well. So eobard as a genius from the FUTURE should have no problem
I have been thinking lately; Batman has taken all sorts of measures to ensure that no one would be able to unmask him etc. but wouldn't it be possible for a detective to discover his secret identity just by narrowing the field. I mean if you really looked into it, it is not just anybody who could be Batman.
Meanwhile I'm still waiting to see the famous first fight between Barry and Thawne when he first killed his mother and changed the timeline, I mean after all it is the foundation of the entire show and it hasn't been revisited or adressed since season 3 or 4 I think.
I think og barry didn’t disappear in 2024, also never forget the 2056 barry message, if that was from the regular(our) timeline then that means barry escapes eventually. If its from og timeline then that means he pretty much never disappears
harry wells told Barry that " this is where he learns about you, you cant do anything about it " that explains how he came to knew bout wells and flash .
Don't you remember that one episode of season 2 called the return of reverse flash. In this episode Earth 2 wells said that that was how Thawn learned who and where he was.
I hope the tv show gets back to Eobard soon. I would really like to see the "only time you'll spend with me" moment done in life action but I worry that the show won't do enough work with Eobards backstory to stick the landing.
The Reverse-Flash confronted Superman in Earth-38. At some point in his personal timeline, Eobard learned how to travel through the multiverse, presumably via the Negative Speed Force.... Eobard finally discovered the Flash's identity: Barry Allen. I googled it and this is what GOOGLE says
we need like 1 season of just pure flash where thawed didn’t try kill him as a child and he never really time travelled until he knew thawed was trying to kill him
His civilian life was a lot more progressed for two reasons. One his mom never died and so he grew up without having that weird dynamic with Iris, which in Flashpoint causes some ripple effect where Wally is a part of their life, not sure if that's just a flashpoint thing or not. And two, he became the Flash way later on in life, meaning not only was his career his focus, but also that he didn't lose almost a year of his young career to a coma
I've always wondered; for how smart Eobard Thawne is... shouldn't he have realised that if he successfully killed The Flash as a child, it would have immediately cut off his own connection to the Negative Speed Force? If RF was successful, OG Flash would have dusted away at that same exact second (in the Allen house), completely erased from the timeline. Therefore erasing any potential connection to the SF for the NSF to feed off in that time period, rendering RF's time-travel and speed capabilities non-existent. _Even if_ RF 'planned ahead' for that, then why did he get stuck in the past anyway?
I think their attempt at fixing this issue was that bit about the negative Speedforce being able to isolate Thawne from changes to the timeline. If he had previously known about this effect then he would have assumed that it would yet again protect himself from any alteration and, in fact, give him what he wanted. He said he recreated the event that gave the Flash his powers and we know from Nora than the transition to the Negative Speedforce can be achieved via emotion. If the Flash were thus to be erased, Thawne himself would then become the first person to complete the Speedforce event and thus become the only first Flash his Earth had ever known. With his Timetravel abilities he could even sort of maintain the timeline by sticking around in Barry's timeperiod to perform the heroics the Flash would become known for, literally making Thawne the "real" Flash. As for his powers, they didn't vanish instantly and later episodes seem to imply that they actually returned prior to the explosion giving Barry his powers. I think one of the many flashback timetravel instances had red lightning crackle around his hand before the accelerator detonated. The issue isn't him having no powers, the issue is him not having enough speed reliably to pierce the time barrier. Given that the Speedforce has "talked" at several occasions by now, for all we know it actively sabotaged Eobard in order to force the creation of Speedster Barry. The proper backup plan, of course, would have been to stash a working timesphere or the likes in that time period xD
I wonder if everyone in Central City being super smart could be because of the Particle Accelerator explosion, as we did see Dark Matter can increase the firing rate of synapses and base intellect to a degree
Maybe because he is always revealing his identity when he needs help
Well, maybe OG Timeline Barry Allen was better at keeping his identity a secret.

Oliver keeping his team in the dark was the only way to persuade Ra's, as it would provoke them into genuinely fighting against him. He would not be fooled by a half measure, which he easily would have discovered if Team Arrow was not genuinely trying to defeat Oliver.

As always, wonderful video!
it would be fun if eobard thawne came back in some episode just like did in season 2, but instead he would learn barrys identity and face
It's almost like there's a museum of the guy or something...
How did Barry learn how to throw lightning? In Earth Prime's timeline, when he faced off with the Pied Piper, he threw lightning which was in season 1. This means that he did not learn it from Zoom, but instead from an alternate method. An easy conclusion is Eobard teaching him it, but why?
thawne teaches him
Another easy conclusion.

He figured it out that one time he went back in time in season 2 I think. Harry said that’s where his timeline starts. Where he learns about Joe, Barry, and everyone else.
how did he recreate becoming a speedster, if he didn't know the flash was barry allen at that time?
Hey I like your vids its easy to understand and still not get bored and annoyed its just right keep it up
My question is. How did Barry know how to use a lighting bolt when he was fighting pied piper in this timeline. I thought Zoom taught him that. And it was really early in his career too. I mean maybe Cisco but idk.

DBZ Fanatic I just thought about that. That’s another plot hole
Da1 King0fWakanda my autocorrect works in many ways
Wheel No.4 What is it?
maybe thawne taught barry how to do it idk
How does Thawne have a problem with the flash if he is from centuries in the future I mean flash disappeared after 4 years in 2024
WHY does Thawne have a problem with him and what is his problem, the show never explained these things it just showed us that reverse flash has a personal vendetta against the flash
Can someone please explain it to me
I can tell you the mid-90s explanation.
(in the comics Barry can't time travel with the same accuracy and the treadmill helps ensure he goes exactly when and where he intends to)
Thawne decides to grab the book hop on the treadmill and go back in time to actually meet his hero.

It really does
Short and more simple version: that eobard has been fighting Barry for so long that he just kinda figured it out after a while so he met our Barry and already knew.
If Eobard is like 100+ years after the TV Show then Barry is probably long dead and he’s actually a historical figure and everyone learns his identity and his history.
If that was the case then Thawne would've known who the Flash is when he came back in time in season 2
Even the Flash Museum didn't have anyones identity
Speedsters also age slower due to their cellular regeneration

He just meant you as the Flash because Thawne didn't know what time period the flash is from.
Darshan Asmoro I don’t understand what you’re saying. Harry said “thawne knows about you” meaning he knows who Barry is.
@@bigclay8479 Barry never revealed himself though. He probably meant he knows about you as the flash. Remember, Eobard didn't know what time period Flash is from, so Harry is just saying, this is where he finds out about you(your time period).
Darshan Asmoro oh ok
It'd be interesting if thawne somehow discovered his own journal which was written in the speed force language and figured out who The Flash was
When Thawne said he knows what timeline flash is from it was 2016.
There is no OG Timeline. Harry in the season 2 episode said that this was Thawnes Origin Story, meaning it always happened in 2016 not in 2020.
@@darshanasmoro9827 you seem pretty determined to tell everyone there is no og timeline, when there clearly is.
In the original timeline thr particle accelerator goes off in 2020, and 4 years later the flash vanished in crisis.
Thawne killing barry's mom changed time. Making the new accelerator explosion in 2014 and crisis to happen in 2020
Thawne tells harrison he needs the explosion to happen sooner, because he needs the flashes speedforce to return to his time, but in the end og thawne is defeated before the changes reach his time. Which is why the new thawne is season 2 finds out the flash time period is 2016, thats already the new thawne.

Fun fact: My headphones cut out during just the right parts of Thawn's speech so it sounded like he was cursing at Barry.
Comic Books vs the world, calculate the speed of the REAL Godspeed when he shows
He probably got the full name of Bartholomew Henry Allen
Meanwhile I'm still waiting to see the famous first fight between Barry and Thawne when he first killed his mother and changed the timeline, I mean after all it is the foundation of the entire show and it hasn't been revisited or adressed since season 3 or 4 I think.
Why is the season 1 suit hanging up where Barry usually hangs up his current suit (when its not inside the Flash ring)?
I wonder how OG Barry got so good considering the Particle Accelerator didn’t go off until 2020 and our Barry has had more time to hone his skills
I think og barry didn’t disappear in 2024, also never forget the 2056 barry message, if that was from the regular(our) timeline then that means barry escapes eventually. If its from og timeline then that means he pretty much never disappears
In season 2 didn’t reverse flash travel back in time to try and find Barry’s identity when Cisco was gonna die and he found Barry’s identity

Barry literally has a museum in the future and the museum has everything about him dahhhhh
Don't you remember that one episode of season 2 called the return of reverse flash. In this episode Earth 2 wells said that that was how Thawn learned who and where he was.
Earth 2 Wells. As in not Thawne. Earth 2 Wells has no way of knowing what Earth 1 was like before the timeline was changed by Nora's death.
In season 7 I want to see some flashbacks of the original timeline. 2020 particle accelerator, 2020-2024 Flash, etc.
we need like 1 season of just pure flash where thawed didn’t try kill him as a child and he never really time travelled until he knew thawed was trying to kill him
His civilian life was a lot more progressed for two reasons.
What if Barry brought his Gideon onto the waverider and the two Gideons talked to each other
