I'm surprised this hasn't gotten as much recognition as other piano videos. This piece is beautiful. Thank you for playing it for us to see. One day I dream to play the piece as well as you did.
@@dot7746 Thank you for the suggestion! No, I have not. I have played many of the nocturnes, but never that one so far. I just listened to it, and it is a remarkable work. When I get more time to practice, I may take you up on it!
@@lindyjtaylor1 you are so awesome ma’am. People find joy in pointing out mistakes, but I’m here to let you know you’re playing something many dream of, and it sounds amazing. Thank you for your lovely interpretation of this piece
Huge respect!! 😁🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’m learning this one too but for the « wrong note » phase (for exemple: the first page) i’m having problems with the pedal, how to use it correctly, because it doesnt sound right. Do you have any tips? I’d appreciate it sooo much. Thanks again
Thank you for your kind comments! The peddling and phrasing are extremely tricky. I think the best thing to tell you is to be exact with the markings. Chopin was very diligent. Also to honor the phrasing and try to show contrasts with articulation, including using finger connected legato when pedaling is not appropriate. Hope that's helpful. Good luck!
