Good video. My 460 magnum cuts stuff like that like it were a tooth pick. I use full skip RS full chisel chain. Bigger stuff gets the old 066 magnum. What a beast. With a 32" bar & chain. Now the realy big stuff gets the 880. That saw is pure MONSTER. It's just way HEAVY. I'm 65 & not quits as spray as I once was.
Finally someone on youtube that doesn't edit out their pinch and act like it's never happened to them before LoL I've really got to send mine to you! I can't stop smiling whenever I run the Insano Mighty Mite.
I'm just a man.... If you haven't been pinched much, then by default, you never bucked much - limb loaded wood anyway. I cut spruce (full man) for about 2 years, in S.W. Washington and N.W. Oregon. 3 days out that entire time I never was pinched. SPRUCE - it will drive you crazy! Have a picture of my dad's D7 parked underneath one somewhere in the collection. This is where the term "grouse ladder spruce" comes from. Thanks for watching.
7 and 8 footers that the butts are off the ground ( bottom of the bole) 10 and 12 feet sometimes. I had to get up on them and saw off the big limbs (that I could reach), on the low side most of the time, for the first 3/4s of the tree, cripple most of the remaining, and then touch off the last "holder" limb in the top. Sometimes even pushing with the cat was to no avail..... When you did get one to roll over, they would flop on the ground and look like a medusa laying there. Yah, the good ole days.....
Before I had 2 back surgeries I was better than you at this.......Just kidding!!! I wish I could stay down on the saw and trigger anymore. Good video friend. Also, I did never cut anything as big as you are doing. Stihl (pun) have a 210, 011, 026, 460. The 011 is the go to saw or the 210. The 026 Pro is museum perfect. The 460 is too damn heavy. What we call trees around here you would call brush. Peace.
I remember when we were felling up to 80cm diameter firs, those things had branches up to 8 inches wide, some bigger, you basically had to do an undercut so they would fall without violently breaking and snapping back at you, had my saw pinched almost every single tree.
Great video man, sounds like the tech has that SS dialed in. Good job falling, always a clinic watching you work. Thank you for all the tips. Keep on building content.. Cheers
Awesome demonstration of the saws ability, saving for a saw bigger then my 360, found I have to keep the rackers a bit high for the chain to pull speed on the 28in bar in hardwoods (locust, ash and elm mostly)
u ever port a 500i new like never has fuel I n besides test at factory where fuel is ran through saw a few seconds idle maybe walk through some 10 cuts of soft wood off 24 heat so so maybe fired again. I have what I believe this saw in box like still sealed from last ( stihl owned anything parts oem stihl
first tree was good nice power dull chain. Yup only human. that was bad brushing a big no-no LoL 😂 oh love the pinch anyone says they don't pinch or have a few bad cuts is full of it!! love the videos .
A new saw needs to run, initially at least, really fat on the high speed needle adjustment as the internal parts are starting to seat in. Black/dark screens are an indication of this. A saw does not run really good until the needles are properly adjusted. It shows the saw runs really good in spite of not being tuned in anywhere near what it will be later, once broken in. Thanks for watching.
Daryl hi. You cannot run a 3/8s rim with .404 chain or vise versa. You will either throw the chain straight away or burr up the drivers so the chain stalls or both. The pitch is to far off for the chain to rotate smoothly. Thanks for watching.
What do you want holding wood for? cut that s*** out as it's going over. This is logging and I'm a Sawyer no pulled fibers out of the middle of the wood for me please.
That's what they make wedges for right? Anyone who says they don't get pinched is telling a tall tale. It is evident this ain't your first rodeo, well done!. Please provide links for the kits etc.
Hello, a chainsaw doesn't need double-declutching, and I've never seen the felling cut on the first tree in such a way that you hold the saw overhead. It is much better if you hold it the other way around, the handle is specially shaped for this and you can use the claw stop. Work easy, save your Energie!
I don't need to even ship it for almost a year need it back in July the 12 looking to keep anything plastic stock as possible spark arrestor requires to much blow back haha make it stupid I want to blow it up I need to 2 cuts roughly 29 seconds in a 70 cc stock logging no like any saw created 2020 or newer under 90 cc 2500 is entry fee I paid 5 years ago that's gone donated to ..... well now build on your part all down under 3500 parts labor machining etc. you can film everything release whenever saw is back in your shipping ways. 7000 buy in nothing guaranteed other than if I lose saw doesn't explode 30 seconds after I start it on drag race style tree for any. track and it ships to address u get immediately from original I got RUclips w 7000 (Parr of i
ZZP Zing Pheonix - Pretty common knowledge that the majority of the earth's oxygen supply comes out of the ocean.... And yet, no squawks about all the pollution that goes into - and a lot from 3rd world countries producing products so you can spend less too. Now something you don't know - the most vibrant time for a forest, depending upon the location & species, is 30 to 60 years. With all the emotional connections that some seem to develop with older tree that are, in essence, on their way out and inanimate there is nothing left to harvest to produce all the wood based products that you use on a daily basis. And then you failed to touch on the Canadian mining companies that buy our land in states like Nevada for $5/6/CHEAP an acre and then level an ENTIRE mountain looking for gold. The other side of this is of course, unless you live in a animal skin tepee, grow all your own food, walk to work, and use an outhouse - stocked with leaves, you still just as much part of the problem as everyone else. I struggle with self-righteous….
Can't imagine sticking my paw down near that screaming chain just to throw a chunk of bark out of the way. I suppose the longer you work with a man killing machine the less cautious you get. Good luck
This is my saw we tested it stock on a red oak and then modified it's 12 seconds faster than stock on same log same chain. See video on my channel.
I would have you on my crew! Ole boy can run a saw I'll say that much and that Stihl is beastly! Much love from the hardwoods of Indiana!
Nice felling and amazing saw! Thanks for posting

I've cut some smaller spruce down by Battle Ground Wa and had a heckva time bucking them. That'd be a cool picture.

I love watching your videos my Brother in Christ and absolutely love how you always mention GOD. Cut safe and GOD bless. 🙏😇
Great sounding saw
Nice work Jack can't wait to get it back and run it in hardwoods.
gotta love pine ha! two completely different wood tipe cut great on both
Wow that saw cuts great. Makes you rethink about the saw you buy if you can buy a smaller lighter saw and have it run like a stock bigger saw why not
Wow, flat out wow! Amazing saw!
Great video man, sounds like the tech has that SS dialed in. Good job falling, always a clinic watching you work. Thank you for all the tips. Keep on building content.. Cheers
Boy that saw screams, Don't forget your ear protection!
Jack I love watching you work and I would like to have a saw like yours but the problem is I am in India
Really enjoying the falling videos jack, great work as always. Next time I get pinched I won't feel so bad lol.
B Rad Hello. If a guy hasn't been pinched much then he hasn't cut much. At least on the west coast anyway.
Thanks for watching.
Awesome demonstration of the saws ability, saving for a saw bigger then my 360, found I have to keep the rackers a bit high for the chain to pull speed on the 28in bar in hardwoods (locust, ash and elm mostly)
Yeah looks like you need more saw.
my fav saw to mod..cuts like a demon.!
When you bring a saw out of your shop of wonders before hitting the woods do you do any break in routines like different fuel, heat cycles or such?
461 wrap handle, me gusta!
that set up is boss
Nice cuts makes mine look like a beaver chewed them down.
Nice saw
4k looking good

Emerald Stevens dull??lolll idk about that
nice job!!!!
I seen a almost brand new 461 for sale I’d like to send it to ya
Watching this video upside down is cool idk why
Which is stronger psycho ss or insane o ss
And you don’t like full skip because….. was on the verge a few time of stalling the chain anyways haha. Full comp would pull it to its knees
What a ripper!
nice job bro..
That saw is doing some eatting. What all mods have you done to it
How do i get in touch with you to build a, jhonsred saw
Wish mine ran like that.
Daniel Roe it could if you sent it to jack😉😉
What do you mean when you say dark screens?
A new saw needs to run, initially at least, really fat on the high speed needle adjustment as the internal parts are starting to seat in. Black/dark screens are an indication of this. A saw does not run really good until the needles are properly adjusted. It shows the saw runs really good in spite of not being tuned in anywhere near what it will be later, once broken in.

Dark screen = smoky exhaust
yes full comp for those 400's
Loving the new camera, what does holding up the chain to the tree do for you? Great video as always!
It's used to see how far out from 'plumb' the lean of the tree is.
Video is in high deff. Is that camera or what.
Do you enjoy the 461's?
erik j I had a 460 and a 660 and a 440 how do I miss them
Ronald Bailey so would you prefer a 460 top end power or a 461 torque?
very very sweet
reshape combustion chamber are you talking about porting?
Chris hi.
The combustion chamber gets reshaped for better performance. Porting is work done on the intake, transfers, or exhaust.
Thanks for watching.
What length bar are you running there Hotsaw?
Do you run the same drive sprocket on the 3/8 chain as say .404?
Daryl hi.
You cannot run a 3/8s rim with .404 chain or vise versa. You will either throw the chain straight away or burr up the drivers so the chain stalls or both. The pitch is to far off for the chain to rotate smoothly.
Thanks for watching.
what is your preferred saw
Which length of bar? What is wood type, species, and location? I use many different saws to meet the variables mentioned.
Thanks for watching.
Where can I get this done to my 461
E mail him
and thanks for the video
what airflow enhancements are you talking about I'm interested I have an old 46 I'm also thinking about getting a 461
Chris hi. The air flow enhancements are a proprietary addition I do to a zipkit I desired.
Thanks for watching.
@@hotsaws101 IND hunt look me up on messenger would like to buy a blue 7900 Makita chainsaw
Holdingwood?
Nah half an inch is enough
Nice saw tough
What do you want holding wood for? cut that s*** out as it's going over. This is logging and I'm a Sawyer no pulled fibers out of the middle of the wood for me please.
That thing is sick! Goddamn.
What size bar
Hey! What air filter cover is this ?
Luch hi. Max-Flow. Or, if your an old guy, HoleShot. It's a alternate air filtration system, not just a rain cover.
Thanks for watching.
That's what they make wedges for right? Anyone who says they don't get pinched is telling a tall tale. It is evident this ain't your first rodeo, well done!. Please provide links for the kits etc.
Wedges, agreed. Never getting pinched, agreed! No problems, not much felling......

Thanks for watching.
How much do you charge to port a 660?
What's the retail on these bad boy's?
Hello. The powerheads run around 1k in stock form. The cost of the zipkit depends on which kit is chosen.
Thanks for watching.
Hi what bar and chain are you running
Bob hi. If you mean length, it is a 32". Full skip Oregon chain. Stihl liteweight bar.
Thanks for watching.
How much to modified a ms 660 chinasaw ?
Hello. My email is in the description. Please shoot me a note to start the process and see if I can help you.
Thanks for watching.
Couple million board-feet.. and it shows.
My regular 460 has the same cutting Speed and Power. The Filework is the most important part of a fast saw.
I run a full comp chain! 25 inch bar 2017 model I'll beat any 462 or ms 500
How do you subscribe to hot sauce 101
👍👍👍👍Brasil.
