We had a 1966 Ford Transit 12 passenger van when I lived in England in 1968-1970. My father actually brought it back to the states in 1970 and I learned to drive on it. Right hand drive and shifting with my left hand! Loved that van, I still have the british license plate that was on it! It also had the V4 engine and therer was an available V6 with a longer snout on the van. Ours was actually the same color green you have on that one! Why did they not make more cars with the V4?
The metal top dash and painted bumpers and hubcaps is the standard model The custom comes with crash pad dash top chrome bumpers & hub caps Also spotted no heater in that one probably hot climate export didn't have one fitted, or was it made in South Africa?
My dad had a number of them back in the early 70's
