Neat work! You can get both pieces of the tank on the fold if you fold both selvage edges to meet at the center of the bottom layer of the fabric. Only change is you have to lay one of the bodice piece face down instead of face up.

Thank you for sharing. I was specifically interested in your sew liberated Chanterelle pants, and they look lovely! I have been seeking a pattern that will fit my shape, and these may just be it, at last. Thanks.

You are so welcome! You might also want to check out the Arenite pattern from Sew Liberated as well. Another favorite of mine.

but even if you reduce fabric stash sewing garments, you will expand your wardrobe - doesn't matter for moving ;) love your stuff!

This won’t be a problem as I edit my wardrobe and donate clothing that no longer serves me every season. And I also choose the items I sew based on gaps that I have in my wardrobe.

Great job with the plaid pattern-matching! Ok I want to try making my own bias tape!!! Several yards out of an 11inch square?!? That's pretty cool! I love that you sewed up the Phoebe tanks piecing together fabric remaining from other projects - right up my alley!!! I might give it a try. I don't have the Chanterelle Pants pattern but I do have the Tyler Trousers by Janet Celeste and I've been eyeing the Joann's "Potent Purple" of Black Linen-Look fabric to make a pair of those and now I'm thinking maybe I need to make the Phoebe Tank to go with it too....Hmmmm..... Your wrap dress is GORGEOUS!! I haven't tried that fabric yet and enjoyed listening to you talk about your experience wearing it. SO EXCITED about your next wedding dress (Err...wedding guest dress?? Not sure what to call it....)! Go you for going back and fixing your Estuary Skirt so that you can comfortably wear it. AHHH!!! Your herringbone dress is going to be lovely - I was laughing about you talking about digging out your fabric lol. That crosses cream fabric is going to make a gorgeous skirt that will match with so many of your beautiful sweaters.
Thank you for sharing all your makes - I really enjoy listening to your thought process, process-in-action, and thoughts after finishing the make and wearing it. Take care and talk soon friend! One day, one day we'll meet in person!~Stephanie

Oh wow!! I had to look up the Tyler Pants, and they look so cool! I have never seen a zero wast pants pattern (usually only tops and dresses). I might have to give them a try. Thanks so much for choosing to spend your time with me, Stephanie! Talk soon. ❤️❤️❤️

Love all your pieces! The Estuary Skirt was my first SewLiberated pattern as well. It's in a fabric that looks very similar to the blue you are wearing. And it was also too big in the waist even when picking "my" size. So it's not just you. I actually seem to have that issue with several different pattern designers. It makes it difficult for sure since I'm not good with winging theses things.

It’s definitely important to read through the sizing chart, finished measurements, and also toile. Although these are always such hard things to do. The good thing that I’ve at least found is that once you figure out your size for one designer it usually hold true across their pattern lines.

I love all your makes! The pattern matching on your Merchant & Mills check was beautiful! So worth the time it must have taken to get that just right 👏👏👏

Thank you so much, Alex! It definitely involved lots of pins. 😅
