this video was excellent! Super helpful. My 2015 F56 Cooper S (which I'm the 2nd owner since 2018) started acting funny in the last week or 2 with the cold weather in the Midwest... battery seemed to be the source. I've never replaced it in the nearly 7 years I've owned it, so assume it was the original battery (which was confirmed upon removal, as it was the German BMW battery). Was able to pick up the battery replacement last night at CostCo, and with less than an hour of work, tools I already own (other than the $35 BimmerLink app), I was able to replace the battery. Was even a bit of a teaching moment for my 17yo. Really appreciate you taking the time to go through the step-by-step process, which was very straightforward, but honestly I probably wouldn't have attempted disassembling all of that without the tutorial video! Nice job New channel subscriber here!

Ridiculous taking all of the parts out to remove battery. All you need to do is remove the cover of the battery and the bolt that secures it in place and just lift the battery out. Dear Lord.

Will all this modification make the car faster atm the factory car max speed is 2.5km is very slow how mutch faster if you run a 24v battery and what if you run 2x 24v batteries how mutch faster will the car run? Does anyone know? Do you also have to modify other things to run 48v?

Awesome video! I've been running a gator and a tractor straight off M18 batteries for a couple years and I've lucked out not losing any batteries from low voltage. With this setup, do you need to enter the cutoff values each time the battery is changed or does it save that info?

Can you suggest any reasons why a cars rear wheels want to propel the car forward but the front wheels want to fight them going on reverse?? Brand new worked fine with remote when tested. Sat for a month then when tested Aydin the from wheels are fighting the rear so car goes nowhere. Unplugged the front wheel harness and if course the car goes forward using just the 2 rear motors.. 4-wheel drive

I love your video. It was helpful. However, 😔This isn't accurate for my 2017 Subaru Outback Limited, Low beam bulb replacement. It is actually easier. Simply disconnect the electrical connection and twist counter clockwise a quarter of a turn and take out the bulb. Then, insert the new bulb twist a quarter of a turn clockwise making sure the connection is facing down. Reconnect the wiring connection and your done. Thank you again for your time and video. I'm sure the instructions were correct for most low beam replacements, just not mine.

Any interest in putting together all needed wires and parts, if I have the recommended 12 volt and take the top off of the old 12-volt power wheels battery, if so add your email to the reply Al with the cost and I will ger in touch. Al

Wish I found this before. My latest problem is the higher gear won’t work. Low gear works Reverse works. High gear no response. Changed out the shifter same issue. I did try an 18v conversion perhaps I botched the wiring? Any tips would help

Hi, my kid has a similar car which stopped turning right with remote control. It turns left just fine, but not right. I measured on control board the output to electric motor which does the turning and saw 0VDC when I'm turning right, with 12VDC when turning left. I assume it should also give 12VDC but with reversed polarity. What could this be?

I have an older Tractor and It runs great in 2nd gear but doesn't do anything in reverse and will go in first for about 10 seconds and then doesn't do anything. I have replaced the gear shift and the foot pedal. Not sure if I want to keep adding cost or decide it is trash. Anyone have any thoughts on what else it could be?

Out ncqueen recently stopped working mid drive. Charger and battery are putting off the right voltage. However the gas doesnt seem to activate the charge. Any common issues with mcqueen to trouble shoot? I already took the whole body apart and all the wires are in good shape

I upgraded to 20V dewalt with fuse. Would the resistor help slowing the start too or just the stop? If not, what the simplest and most cost effective way to dnsble slow start too? Ty

Instead of a 12 Vdc 5 amp battery, use a motorcycle battery instead. The terminals can be adapted to anything. I just diagnosed and fixed vehicles at dealers & shops for decades, but after a period of time at a motorcycle shop, I had already owned 7 different bikes, rode them, fixed them and sold those or traded in. Just thinking out loud as I don’t know the price. ASE Master Tech since 78.
