Yuki makes me so smad (sad + mad) I loved her design and cursed technique and was excited for the cast to have a special grade to learn from and help them fight against a seemingly unbeatable evil catalogue. Then she got foddered cause Gege needs his villain sues to look cool, and only existed to make Choso sad. Like not even Todo, her student, cared all that much as far as I know. Also don't get me started on Nobara. At least Mai was a side character and there wasn't much missed by her death (this isn't hate to her, just that she was pretty weak and her death to motivate Maki wasn't as heinous as Nobara and Yuki.)

This makes me so sad, but it is SO true. I've been having similar thoughts (with the caveat that I think Gege really has a hard time introducing new characters that aren't part of the main initial cast and making readers invested; whether male or female, all of the best characters were established as important at the beginning of the manga). Also, I feel like Gege just didn't know what to do with the plot after Shibuya; where did the critique of JJK society theme (that female characters (Mai and Maki) and male characters (Geto) illustrated) go? Yuki's death is the single most egregious thing JJK has done, and I will never forgive it. I'm not even a Yuki stan, but it's so obvious that her setup should have amounted to wayyyy more. When will authors learn that if you're going to have a gritty story that kills off characters all the time, you have to put double the amount of female characters in order to compensate. I don't think Nobara's death and Mai's death was a bad writing choice, but you have to make up for it. (I also don't like how Nobara's status has been kept somewhat ambiguous, because like she hasn't been in half the manga, it doesn't matter if she comes back now in a cool moment.)

I was very iffy on Gege's writing, but i knew something was wrong when Esperr, a very small JJK youtuber going from praising Gege's writing of female characters to absolutely hating it. If you guys want well written female characters in shonen, read Chainsaw Man, or and I'm not joking when i say this, watch/read Fairy Tail (don't listen to the haters, Fairy Tail has very well written female characters.

The deal with Sukuna's plot armour is that, almost all can be explained why it would make sence, but just the fact that this happens over and over again, literally for hundreds of chapter, it loops back to Sukuna having absurd amounts of plot armour. When a coincidence happens over and over again, its no longer just a coincidence.

Oh she is also the mentor of the strongest Kyoto student, blah blah blah.. And she died for Kenjaku's ass to survive, hahaha. Mei Mei was actually my fav female character until that creepy hotel scene in season 2 Sure she wasn't very likeable, but she was a total bada$$ imo. What people say is 'selfish' I call being smart and independent. Yes she was only loyal to herself and only caring about money, but people forget Jujutsu world is dominated and ruled by men. If she's not going to look after herself who will? like how many powerful female characters are there? zero or 1 maybe? I honestly hate the creator for ruining her character like that. 6:15 The world cutting slash binding vow is fair because he traded a one time use with no chanting for the rest of his WCS to need chanting with two hands and point at the enemy with another hand (3 hands in total) which is impossible for Meguna with two hands, the vow didn't considered Sukuna Heian form who has 4 hands. 6:49 The flame arrow binding vow is fair because he traded not being able to use it against multiple enemies outside of his domain and received being able to use dust infused with curse energy to create explosion with a flame arrow inside his domain. The reason it seems unbalanced is because Malevolent Shrine sure hit effect can create dust particles with its slashes. The vow doesn't care if your domain can create dust or not, it only cares about what you traded and received. 7:19 This is false, the only reason the binding vow consequences would outweigh or equal to the benefits is when the vows maker is trash (Miwa) or mid as hell (Nanami). An example would be Mei Mei's binding vow. Her CT is controlling black birds which is only useful for intel gathering, but her vow allowed her to deal heavy damage by sacrificing her birds. The pros outweigh the cons because black birds aren't rare and she can bring multiple birds into the battle.

"Its not fair" that Sukuna has to incorperate hand signs, chants, aswell as needing to extend his arm. I don't think Sukuna's binding vows are unfair just done well. I mean, he is literally being jumped by the whole Jujutsu Tech schools and the same binding vow has bitten him in the ass multiple times. Also, there isn't anything to judge whether a binding vow is fair or not, a binding vow won't know the intention he will use it in, a binding vow won't automatically know that its going to save his life- just like Hakari's binding vow against Kashimo where he literally severed his arm in order to survive an insta kill. Its just how binding vow works, Sukuna knows these and utilizes them to its extent. Also Gojo did use binding vows against Sukuna in his fight, also, Gojo didn't need to make binding vows in Sukunas fight because he was winning the entire fight yfm?

Gojo never did any binding vows ,he simply switched the conditions of the domain barrier the same way sukuna was switching conditions for the domain both are fundamentally different. To further support this point every other part of the story where a binding vow was made it was explicitly stated as a binding vows where as in domain condition changes it was never once mentioned as binding vows in place, may be i missed it.
