I was very disappointed by stalker 2 a life doesn’t exist radiation also doesn’t exist it is just implemented instead of invisible walls and almost nothing established before in the trilogy lorewise is respected I finished the game hade fun for most of the game I’m not a hater I would love this game to be good but it’s not it for me low fps graphical issues and other bullshit like this I can endure but I can’t forgive not respecting the sorce material

i played and completed 2 times SoC, but... i only stayed 10 hours in this game 😭, i deleted it from my xbox ss since it occupied all my space, totally not worth it, shitty not optimized graphics and a ton of bugs(which some ones literally stop me from continuing the game). if it was this bad in console why didn't they put it on pc only, I installed fallout 4 + some mods and im enjoying far more this than a bugged blurry 60€ unfinished game(like the new game industry of today) i could've spent those 60€ to buy CS and CoP but i just wasted them,if S2 doesn't get mods like F4, its completely unplayable sadly DISCLAIMER: it seems like im an hater of this game or smt but im just angry that i spent 60€ for Something that shouldve been soo good but happened to be a complete waste of time, if you don't believe me, i was so excited to play this game that i woke up at 5 am before school because it downloaded in the night, and when i played it it left me mid thoughts, and then when i came back to it i enjoyed the first missions and animations cut scenes(i arrived at Duga assault and completed it, afterwards that other main missions were bugged and not possible) but after that it got boring, repetitive(The Npc's always saying go there and here and there etc) and the downgraded graphics now started to be noticed more. this game can be good, it just needs some fixes AND NEEDS TO BE LESS THAN 140GB. the only things i see as 130gb is the map, then the whole game seems to be 10gb

Sitting at just over 430 hours myself

It's really good game but im tired really spent more than 100 hour in this game.. it's for who has very very much time and don't have anything to do during the day most of time i keep walking running walking running... And i get 10 or 15 min story or something happening from one hour the rest is walking exploring.. but it will remain very good game

You have problems with the game, but I don't have an old FX-8350 processor, the game works very well ..

I played almost 300 hours of Stalker2 and (obviously, I should hope) really enjoyed myself. Then I uninstalled it and went back to GAMMA. If they properly implement A-Life, rankings, etc., Stalker2 would be an amazing platform to become GAMMA 2.0. Until then, I'm going back to GAMMA 1.0 (well, technically it's 0.9.something). For the 1st time in a very long time, I have zero Steam games on my PC. Just GAMMA and Vintage Story << very good minecraft-esque survival game.

I stopped playing a few weeks ago, its just too boring and repetitive, the story in incoherent and the bugs kept keeping me back.

Not only did they have to pack up and move but a considerable amount of developers went and fought in the war. So yes, they have the best excuse for releasing an unpolished game.

In Call of Pripyat the gauss rifle could one shot a chimera and almost anything else.

I was so hyped but cannot continue to support a dev team that doesn't care. To me they are lazy or incompetent. The mod team fixed items quicker and better than the original dev team. They took off for like 6 weeks before giving us a meaningless hotfix. I was never able to progress past return to Slag Heap/sawmill and I replayed it twice and both times I got stuck on this main mission. Been gaming for 30+ years and in all that time I never experienced a main mission bug to the point you cannot progress. I finally moved on and enjoying KCD2.

Hello Stalker, play the early games also it will give you a better perspective of the Stalker universe, if you had, congrats. Stalker cannot be played immediately again, give it some years, let is settle in the back of your mind, when the time will come, you will feel it. Keep the Zone/ Zona alive Stalker ! PS: Gauss guns suck, quite a lot from short distances !

Jist beat the first play through in jist over 100hr. Last auto save was 4day 18hr. Great game does have a number of annoying bugs and if your unfortunate you could lose 30min->3hr of playtime. And last mission is a Suuuuuuuuuper grind. My recommendation is bring a gauss with minimum 120 rounds saiga shotty and kahrod with 5.45 or dnipro and one with 556. Walked in with 400 rounds of 545 and ended with 1200 rounds 😂

I'm sticking with GAMMA and all the other modpacks for now..I own STALKER 2, but giving it the cyberpunk treatment.

Love Stalker. Played it for years and topped out with mods. Deactivate the in game music and listen to S1+2 OST, and some good old 1940's music. And Bor Ren and Der Club of Gore works great with Stalker as well.

I feel like the devs took specific notes from GAMMA or elsewhere(speaking of the chimera example) coz in gamma there was dedicated ammo for extra flesh damage like the ACP against mutants.

Stalker will be very good game, but not now. Too many bugs, A-life not working, stealth practically useless

There's two types of people who bough this game. Those that bought it and enjoyed the jank, and those that preordered it and didn't play it because they're wise sages that waits for the game to get fixed before playing. Don't ask which one has the worst brainrot.

Also hedge I heard your criticism of the lag issues. If you haven’t tried community fixes or they are not helping look into updating your graphics card for nividia as other and myself saw improvements getting up to date

I haven’t finished the game yet but with 100 hours in, and all the issues I’ve experienced; I’m still playing. Why? It’s good in spite of itself. Besides I got some nice mail from the developers when giving feedback on issues. Yep, I’m working QA again but this time with a smile.

I bought the preorder as a longtime fan and I'm probably going to wait 2y past release to actually go play through the game when the official modtools come out for ppl to fix the game + GSC fixes.

I found an exo-suit just sitting on top of a building and after I learned that you can’t run in one I felt like it just wasn’t worth it since I prefer that bloodsuckers don’t have a stationary tin covered blood bag that can’t move

Well, it's kind of a sandbox. It may be perfectly designed to not complete every quest once the player f*cks up. I may be wrong though
