There's a couple mods on Nexus which makes the mutants less tanky. Im using one that removes 50% of their health and it feels a lot better and more realistic.
Yeah i feel like there are way too many bloodsuckers happening compaired to the og games where you didnt see one until you made ur way to another area. And yes! you cant have invis enemy thats tanky af and can oneshot you... same with the floating assholes It took me 14 slugs to kill one of those assholes
@@plm6523 Don't play on Veteran then, all the higher difficulty does is turn enemies into bullet sponges, it doesn't effect anything else. In the previous games difficulty impacted multiple stats including how far NPCs can throw grenades but none of that seems to be the case in STALKER 2, it just seems to make npcs take make damage to kill.
It's not encountering lots of Bloodsuckers that is the problem, it is that they are so stupidly tanky.

Just wait until you get to mid game, instead of encountering one at the time they will throw 2 at you

What difficulty are you playing? Cuz it takes a lot more than 6 on veteran let me tell you that
