some more advice: 1. rescuing an incapacitated stalker increases your reputation with their faction, giving you discounts. you can engineer these situations depending on your interventions or lack thereof. 2. when you dive into an anomaly it is more economical to remove your weapons and armor and use medkits instead of paying for repairs for your gear. 3. if you are pieously guided by the will of the monolith, the zone shall rend your enemies apart and grant you shelter. if you know the local anomalies you can use them for cover (glass shards) or lure enemies into them (anything) 4. getting up on high ground often makes you unreachable to everything but ranged attacks, snorks and chimeras. they can jump. 5. you can also find the kharod and a rhino on a body in the upper mouth of the cave that connects the vehicle graveyard with the gas filled trench in yantar (northeast of the location shown at the end of the video) 6. you can reset the type of artifact generated in an anomaly by saving and reloadig more than 100m from it. 7. rule of thumb: if the gun type is found on the random NPCs in early game lesser zone and garbage, it's not worth carrying home unless you have a alot of capacity left.
6:45 Me when I'm in a tense survival situation but I see something cool and my ADHD kicks in 😂 I would absolutely probably do that talking about the stars in the sky at night lol
11:13 Isn't the Kharod is based on the IWI Carmel? Wouldn't that make it Israeli made? And there are fast attach suppressor mounts everywhere nowadays. Could be like a Dead Air Keymo or a SilencerCo Saker system. Both a little antiquated at this point, but still around. That's my headcanon, at least.
Suppressor is a 3-lug on the Carmel. I see what your saying though. Most weapons he'll screw it on three of four rotations but a badass modern suppressor really is just half a turn and done. Look into the 3-lug system Edit: yes that quick attach thing that hk did 🤙🏼
Thanks for the advice. I am playing Stalker on pc right now and just going through my first play through. In the swamp area right now. It's been a fun game to play. Hopefully we will get another patch soon. I am still getting random enemies spawning right by me quite often.
Just a minor complaint, I love underbarrels, in any game... but I like to play with minimal hud, so I find myself wishing I could use the grenade sights with the under barrel launchers like in many other games. It's trickier guessing long shots with the launchers without the crosshair dot. Getting more accurate by volume one 40mm at a time, over time, lol.
Yeah it seems like some enemies just kind of bug out. I was wandering around the game a few days ago and a hostile patrol detected me (sort of) and the compass showed the red triangles and as I ran towards them, none of them fired at me with the enemy in the front literally pushing me back as they continued walking into me and they didn't attack me until I attacked them.
The amount of Good gear and guns that are just laying out in the environment waiting for you to find them at any point makes the prospects of a second playthrough very exciting.
And some useful advice for you too, sir: melee with guns uses durability.

Google Lens & Translate are ultra useful in this game 😂 and finally they don't just collect dust on my phone.

This game is stressful 😅
2:28 There looks to be a glass anomaly that he died to as he fell lol
That might also explain all the blood on the ground 🤔
glass anomalies are bulltproof! you can use them for cover but you cant shoot out of them. you can peek though.

You're totally right about me using the Kharod, for some reason in my mind I was still using the AR416 😅d
Thought you were Jack Black for a Moment....

The more the game is "fixed" the more it stays the same 😅 be sure to look out for the Harry potter reference in the far east of the great swamp!
I fell to my death 194 times in the game, being Curious is very rewarding, but also very dangerous lol
