What is up guys my name is Jesse I've created this channel to share automotive DIY and entertaining videos of me and my friends "YONKES" including lowering, suspension, LS swaps, engine rebuilding, transmission rebuilding, auto body work, ect. In case you are new and don't know what yonke means its slang for junk trucks & cars. Some things you can expect by subscribing to this channel is doing every thing in house or on the cheap like junkyard parts cause I'm broke and don't have big money to spend on my projects.
I started this channel so I could have a place to show you guys it doesn't take much money to get your projects going. I'll be the first one to tell you guys I'm not the best at anything but I get it done some how. I do live in the windy city of Fontana, Cali.... I'm always down to connect and answer questions if anyone needs help. Feel free to reach out on social media I.G. @LowLifeYonkes just slide in my DM's or leave me a comment on my youtube.

Does it push enough air to keep it cool?
Yea it works perfect and pushes more than enough air
@LowLifeYonkes awsome ty ordering now switching from mechanical fan to electric. Ty for reply
@@nolove332245 thank you for watching
Does the stock radiator work with the efans?
Yea the stock radiator works
Bro, I'm about to remove them, which size is the socket to remove the caliper? TYIA
I use a 3/8 Allen key socket
@@LowLifeYonkes thanks! I'm removing the wheel/lug assembly so I can send the rims to repair the 5-127 lug space and the rims fit nice. Thanks!!

Cool to see the vinyl that came from the factory, definitely looks like a better grade than what ACC is offering. I recently swapped the beige carpet out of the trunk area of my 98 suburban to grey vinyl. I really like it for the trunk as I don’t have to worry about it getting dirty. But now I’m torn on whether or not I should put carpet or vinyl in the front. Think this video did it for me thanks man nice video 👍
Thanks bro yea I was just sick of the vinyl flooring this upgrade made my truck feel different in a way if that makes sense in a good way
Where did you get the cold air intake?
I originally got it from eBay but u can search amazon as well
What year is the truck? I have a 1992 4.3 wonder if this would work....
chevy 1500
Yea it will work mine is a 98 c1500 and it was also a 4.3L
88-94 tip?
You had a Question?
got a part number for the harness bro.
No I don’t they actually make the complete harness for it now u can get it from Amazon or eBay just search 95 c1500 ac harness
So thus should fit on my 1998 chevy Silverado
Yea it will work
What year is your truck? I’m watching because I’m swapping my 98 to manual and yours already had the shifter hole cut out??
It’s a 98 C1500 W/T it originally had a v6 and manual transmission
@@LowLifeYonkes Ah ok. was there anything wrong with your old vinyl floor? I’d buy it if you still got it
@@MKYRR it had a hole on the driver side and the insulation was soaked with oil not from me but it went to the trash bro sorry
I'm about to do the same, how are the fans cooling?
They are a perfect fit 100%
@@LowLifeYonkes thanks a lot bro! I got them and they fit perfect, I cut top and bottom tabs on the side and left a small stub and the snap into place perfect!
@@hug00l yep it’s a perfect fit after a lil trimming
@@LowLifeYonkesHey bro would it be better to get ignition switched power to the relay? Idk if it's nessesary, does the pcm cut the ground to the fans as soon as you turn off the truck or do they keep running until it goes below the temp threshold?
@@hug00l I’m running a Holley terminator Xmax but I do know some pcm have a wire u can tap into to turn on and off the fans at the desired temperature
How many inches was the front when it has normal springs coils
I don’t know since I have owned this truck it has always been lowered
Did u do that on the truck with the hood up if so what year model was it i have to do this on my 97 Silverado
Yea the hood was up kinda strange question but yea it’s a 98 c1500
@@LowLifeYonkes i figured it was that truck my guy wasn't trying to be on no weird shit thanks for the info
@@DeediLee ok glad I could help thanks for watching bro
It’s recommended to use a line wrench in order not to ruin the flats on the nuts
Yes I agree but I use what I have thanks for watching I appreciate it
Would I be able to use my stock radiator and just get those fans or do I need to get the radiator
The same radiator works fine bro
i wanna do a 6 lug conversion but i was curious of what sr did you choose and if you added bearings and seals the length and bolt pattern is asking me all that’s and i have no clue
SR ? And no I used my old bearings and got new seals from the auto parts store all the measurements are in the video follow them and you won’t have a problem I wrote them down in the video
@@LowLifeYonkes thanks man i really appreciate it
@@LowLifeYonkes sorry man i don’t annoying, i just had another question i matched all the measurements with yours and i got the sr# 42 but it’s a 5 lug and i was wondering if you went with the sr#43. it’s the same measurement i think it’s a little longer though but it is 6lug sorry man this is all new to me
@@LowLifeYonkesmy apologies bro i was looking back at your measurements and i was wrong it is the sr#42 but the 6lug option my bad bro but i appreciate the video and your knowledge
@@YNDloyalty yea no worries bro once you talk to some one from Dutchman they are very knowledgeable and will confirm with you
Where did u get the brackets to hold the radiator?
It the original fan shroud I cut from the old v6 I took out
My block 1 pin 7 doesn't have a termination, what does this mean??
I guessing u don’t have defrost right if so Block 1 pin 7 there is no wire and block 4 pin A just cut the wire u don't need it I did mess up on that 1 wire hope this helps
Good foundation to build a monster.
Thank you for the comment bro
Threads on fitting came apart and started to leak
I have never heard that happening might have over tightened it

I'm way past all this, i just came to see what you were up to for 💩😂's. I started out just like this. It worked, Well I went through three of those fuel pumps before i changed to Aeromotive. Now it's all in a box somewhere hiding from the mud dobbers. Besides the terminator, this is the ( just enough, it will work) Approach, Besides the terminator. Which you don't need, if you're going B minimum everything else. I'm not breaking anybody's balls, like I said I did the same thing and learned. Well kinda, I did it this way because I couldn't afford to do it right all at once. Which means in the long run. It costs you more. Like buying a custom car That someone spent eighty thousand dollars to build, for 30 grand At barrett jackson. It is what it is. You buy the training wheels and then you throw them away. 🤙
Thank you for watching I appreciate the comment
My Dads been gone for 22 years but I keep up his 95 heavy half clubcab , he loved that truck and so do I. Just got the ac working again but the switch only blows on high so I ordered a new one from Amazon which cost me 100 bucks Canadian not bad, imagine my surprise when I pulled the old unit out and it was completely different???🤯 I was getting ready to send it back when I started reading about the wiring harness adapter kit, I found a new one for under $50 and it’s on its way. Finding a good info video on how to make it work is another challenge till I saw yours, thankyou, thankyou, thankyou, you put a lot of effort into this and as you can see from the comments we all appreciate what you have done! I can’t wait to get at it once that harness shows up, it will be a breeze thanks to you, great job!👍
Thank you for the comment at the time that I put out this video no one had made an adapter harness but as time has passed they have become available from eBay amazon ect. I glad I could help everyone out with this issue keep me posted on how it works out for you thank you for watching I appreciate it
I was surprised at the quality of this harness, both ends are complete no need to create the connection, they are plug and play, hooray keeping the spare parts though, thanks for what you did it did get me up to speed!
@@Springer_maniac I’m glad it worked out for you thank you for the support
@@LowLifeYonkes The stupid thing now is the fan still blows only on high, there must be a relay somewhere malfunctioning. May have to just replace the fan, one way of keeping your truck like new 🤣
@@Springer_maniac replace the blower motor resistor first that should fix it
That is perfect, what efans did you go with to fit flush?
I got those from a Chrysler pasifica 2004
I wanna do this to my 01 chevy 1500 not sure if it’ll fit tho
2001 ??? It’s that an NBS
Yes it is sadly I just wanna find a way to put the OBS style look to it without having to change the shell fully
@@smjbstudios8414 yea no bro this will not work for you sorry
I think a template would help out a lot. I installed mine and the left side of the tailgate isn’t flush anymore with the taillight. 😅Probably less than half an inch. I’m guessing I didn’t drill the hole properly. And also mine drops kinda fast like in 2 seconds compared to yours. Nice video though bro 🤙🏽
Yea that’s not the first time I got a comment just like this saying almost the exact same thing crazy thanks for sharing and watching bro I appreciate it

I posted all links to parts in the description box below the video thanks for watching I appreciate it
That cooler is metal on metal with the rad support, maybe not so great. Also most recommend to also use the radiator cooler along with the aftermarket cooler.
The cooler is actually aluminum and you can choose to route it how you like but most affective by bypassing the rad since u won’t get the heat from the coolant thanks for watching
Just got mine in the mail. Didn't get a sticker...pretty bummed out now 😂
😂 that’s funny
Thanks bro how did you run the starter wire?
Yes I did from the original wire harness that’s why I didn’t show it

Question when your stick shift to an automatic can you mix a 93 stick to a 96 automatic?
I don’t understand what stick shift your talking about
Let’s see them lit up. LED would be nice
Will do bro thanks for the comment
I guess we're going with #3 lol
lol 😂 yea I don’t like led look but this is a good in between middle ground thanks for the comment
Option 2. Option 3 is nice but you can still see the aftermarket stuff under it, which does look cool now, but it will go out of style and look tacky in time. OEM always fits the truck. You know what I mean? When you see a car that was restored in the 90s and it's obvious
I agree 100% bro I have never been a fan of led lights but option 3 is a good in between middle ground so I’ll run that one for a while but probably go back to the OG can’t ever go wrong with that 1
Option 3. The OG look with the modern lights is nice.
Thanks bro just making sure thank you for the comment
You answered your question with option 3 lol
Just make sure everyone agrees lol thanks for the comment
@@LowLifeYonkes oh yeah man, great work. If someone doesn’t agree they just jealous of your skills🤙🏽. But no problem man, keep on grinding
