Hi Ken, I had this dilemma when I was building mine as I had an e153 and wasn't sure whether to install it. The reason I went with the ep3 gearbox was because of the cost. I think the hux racing adapter was about £1500 and I sold my e153 for £1500 with shafts and shifter cables so that was 3k saved from using the ep3 box. My fried Dan's one broke at 650 bhp. Hi mate I used any double skin section. Just make sure your screws aren't too long so.they don't pierce the outside

Cheers Luke, yes you can drop it into any mr2 chassis. TOYONDA and Hux Racing sell offnthe shelf mounts

I had no issues with mine at all at that mileage and the compression was strong and equal. It had good service history so that's what gave me confidence

@@G9RGEhave you any pictures of the wiring how it plugged in to the loom or did you use wiring from a civic? Also did you use the original starter wire from the mr2 that’s been bugging me can’t find much info on it 😂😊 thanks for the reply

@naythancampbell2019 so I bought a civic cluster with pigtails so I had all the wires. I the. Found a wiring schematic for my dash and joined them all up. The only thing that didn't work was the temp sensor but I was running a Hondata ecu so had that info on a tab i had in the dash. With regards to the wiring a good friend of mine runs Midlands mr2s and can help you with the loom wiring. I paid and got mine done to save time

I prefer the blitz on a stock tt supra but when I went big single it was too loud and droney and the Super silent sounded loads better

Watch the first video mate, alot about the car in it. We have just both been busy since this video and haven't had a chance ro fit the new pump an dtry it. If it runs we will clean it up and get it in ebay

Very bad is the honest answer and was the question I was forever asking Kswappers i knew. I had medium engine mounts and put sound deadening under the carpet on the firewall and the problem was still there. Anything above 65mph on a long run become deafening. I was planning on getting a longer final gear ratio to make it more bearable but have since sold the car so no need now.

@@G9RGE oh no you sold it! Well I understand…I’m gonna try a few more things to try and improve the NVH because I’m really not digging it right now. Thanks for the reply because at least I know now it’s a somewhat normal thing.

No not solely, there were a few reasons. We were planning to move house and freeing up.the money from the mr2 was needed ( this has all.fallen through now, hence buying another). The car just always wanted to go fast and I really like my licence And then the noise, ok for local journeys but not for long

Maybe, the reg went on 20 years ago around the same time the guy that did the build bought it so not sure where it came from

The plate went in in 2003 so not quite sure but it's been built really well and is an interesting car

@skopjemk I have had 18mm in my van for 5 years now and it's still structurally sound and I haven't had any issues although I plan to to redo it to accommodate all the new tools I have

Yes Red light was off but i think the pump has just given up the ghost so we have a new one ready to fit.
