The everything on my calendar with 24 hours advance notice. 8 alarms every day just to corral me in the right direction. And I still forget things, just less of them. How do I forget the dishes need to be washed or the laundry needs to be (whatever step it's on)? It feels so basic yet so far away.

@MollysADHDMayhem I hope this cheered you up and made you smile! 🤗💖🤸🏻‍♀️👩🏻‍🎤💃🏻🦸🏻‍♀️ You deserve it! 💖 I have a couple questions for you. 🤔 If you relate?💕 (This ended up being so long! Sorry, I opened brain, 🧠 and downloaded! I feel like Neo from the Matrix here. 😂) - If you read little to none of this, it's totally ok. I have family members with dyslexia and ADHD, let me know, and I will keep it short if you can't read the comments much. 👍🏻🥰 I got you. 👩🏻‍🎤🤟🏻💖 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just wondering what has helped you the most so far? 🤔🫠 I have been struggling Sooooo much just trying to develop ANY routine. I know it's so cliche'. But I kept thinking I could find SOMETHING to finally overcome it? Maybe wishful thinking.. yes I guess I am just tired of trying so hard and wonder what has helped you make the struggle less painful? Or what has worked the most for you so far in managing your symptoms? Or made it less painful, exhausting, or a challenge? Yesterday I tried something new in the morning by trying to take something I hate and make it a game. It's tricky to do. To work on my planner, to not loose time all day long. To remember SOMETHING I am supposed to do or remember without writing every little thing down. Sigh... I'm just tired. I know each of us with ADHD is different. But thought it couldn't hurt to reach out to you and see what you think? 🤔 (Sorry my brain and typing ramble so much) 🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😆 You should get a medal 🏅 if you can read this far! 🙏🏻 💕 For real. 😆 I know I am tired of feeling bad about myself and crazy. Of course not working recently doesn't help, I had to take a break from working due to burnout. 😥 I am trying to make a shift and change my mind set. From a failure/ fear/ anxiety/ mindset, to accepting and just being? To joy and shining my light in some way. To learn how to fear less and flow. It is so hard to shift from always feeling like you can't and constantly failing. I just feel like the hamster wheel of it all is part of what is keeping us stuck? It feels like it becomes it's own self-fulfilling prophesy or something? I'm wondering if it always has to be this hard? But I can't space out all day either... (Omg sorry so long!) I don't know, I'm rambling sorry!!! 😔 Is there anything that has helped you the most? 🤔 Or anything fun? I wonder if there is anything we can do to turn it around in some way. We can't change it. We are who we are. But I know, I feel like somehow I am making it harder than it has to be? Am I crazy? I know none of us has the answers. But it can't hurt to ask another adhd-er. :) Thank you so much for just being here and being yourself! 🥰 💖🙏🏻🤟🏻 What helps you when you want to give up? And what ADHD hacks have helped you? Ok .. really stopping now... Putting down the phone .. lol. I hope you have a Wonderful Weekend! Do something kind of awesome for yourself! You are important too. 💗 For real! Regardless of it doesn't feel that way to you, you absolutely are. Keep Shining! 🌟✨🌟✨🌟 Let me know if you ever want to do content or lives with other ADHD content creators here. I am new and don't know what I am doing yet, but it could be fun. :)

The "Treat people how you want to be treated": I can remember being very comforted by certain reactions as child when I was upset, and I would do those same things when I noticed that others were upset. At the very least, people were disinterested. Worse, they would tell me to go away. At the very worst, I would get yelled at for being so "selfish!". And these responses would always stem from me noticing their sadness and wanting to comfort them. On the flipside, there are neurotypical responses to my distress that leave me wanting to never open up to certain people again. So I guess it goes both ways!

I think the hand talking is partially thinking in pictures! I find that when I'm talking about steps or categories or something similar, I will catch myself making boxes with my hands, haha. One thought goes in one box. One thought goes in another box. Every thought in my head holds a position in space! 😂 OOOOH I just blew my own mind with that space comment. What if us neuro divergent folks are really just existing partially outside of this dimension, and we are actually seeing the fabric of reality from the outside, causing confusion when you're trying to exist inside?

Literally I ping awake pace my room for 20 minutes go have a coffee take my meds and that is my 6 am to 6.30 am every single day years of addiction before getting my diagnosis and now living in England 2+ year waiting list for any other help with ADHD however medication and routine helps to a degree and life could be worse but on days like today when I’m utterly exhausted it feels like a losing battle lol

After a social event, does anyone else run the after play tapes, over and over? And then have 'Walter Mitties' thinking all the things you should have said? I've found a way to break the loop, when I become aware, I invision a squirrel running around and I start thinking about what it's doing, and my brain has changed thoughts. You can use anything, doesn't need to be a squirrel, anything that diverts your diverse brain! ❤️

This whole subject is totally about me. And plus, I’m also selectively mute. So for me, without my phone, I’m like a statue when my selective mutism kicks in. Also, I do stim in many ways, and really one of them were mentioned in this video like skin picking, I used to rip it off using my fingers, but now I carry my nail clippers to cut it out. It’s so challenging for me to live my life 😣
