My Sigma fP has been collecting dust for a couple of years. With this video, I can see the amazing potential for it as at least a B cam! Thank you! This tutorial is truly excellent. Very nice...very new to DiVinci. Within my journey with learning DiVinci(I'm just two months in 10/24), I asked an experienced editor(he likes Adobe),could I save a finished project and eliminate all the fluff? He looked at me like I had horns.and basically dismissed my question. As for my mini projects, so far they are not huge, but I will be using this method going forward. What a 'Space Savior". Questions...I see that you leave 48 frames on each side of the clip for further editing. #1-How is this handled if I use stills? #2-What if I did not have any trim on a clip? Say the end of one of the clips is 'thee end'? Will the MM software see this and just ignore or prompt you with an issue? Thank you again and I did subscribe.

I've seen a lot of your past Sigma FP footage, and to me this new video is a step above the others, honestly it's perhaps the best Sigma FP that I found on RUclips, congratulations ! Do you change something in your CDNG workflow ? The quality is insane here, the dynamic range seems higher than usual, the colors seems stronger really it's impressive ! I'm still hesitating, the Sigma FP is perhaps my next camera but often the footage that I see lack dynamic range, seems a bit "flat" but damn again the quality here is crazy

Niiiice! Kind of tempted to get one. Also I'm a dummy and didn't realize I could record 1080p CDNG to an SD card. I have a mini USB SSD attached just to record 1080p CDNG, haha 😅

You mention in the video that this setup is perfect for 4k 12bit CDNG. What is the longest clip possible using these components before recording stops? Orico's max 10Gpbs sounds enough for the job but is it really though?

Hey Dylan love your videos. I'm thinking of getting another fp after I sold mine two years ago. - it didn't function well for my work flow at the time. How do you handle exposure? I remember it doesn't always show correctly when the highlights are clipping it. My memories a little hazy what my exact problem was... does this ring a bell?
