What is pollinating my mango trees?
In this short video, I discovered what pollinated my mango trees. You may be surprised, but it wasn't bees. Pollinators included syrphid flies, common green bottle flies, moths, mosquitos, eye gnats and more.

    What replacement hardware can I get at basic hardware store to attach mount to the TV?

    • @backyardwarrior90
      @backyardwarrior90 4 месяца назад

      If it is a concrete wall you will need tapcon screws and a masonry bit to drill the hole. If it is drywall you will need to buy a pack of big drywall anchors if they didn't come with the wall mount. A regular drill bit will work for making those wholes.

    Thanks for the video. The spring-assist is tricky. It's not based on friction -- it looks to be tensioning an internal spring. Hence, efforts to tighten the nuts don't help. You just have to keep turning it (many rotations in my case with 65-inch TV) until the TV begins to drop more slowly, then eventually will hold up. Knowing that it's a tensioned spring, I wonder what happens if the spring breaks. Hence I may wrap a zip tie around the arm to keep it compressed and in the highest position if I don't plan to raise and lower it much.

    This is not meant as criticism. If both your bars are worn at the same time then it’s got to be more than coincidence. I agree with the other commenter that you must be running your chains too tight. Confirmation of that is the fact that the bar nose sprocket axle has worn so much the sprocket is pulled back into the bar. Check out videos on chain tension and adjustment, especially with new chains. In another vein, thanks for posting this video. I’m currently researching causes of small engine equipment smoking and hadn’t run into this reason yet so now I’ve got another one to add to my list of over 20.

      Hi David, something like this would work: Cable Connection Block Universal Fast Wiring Cable Connectors. Do an image search and it will give you an idea on the type of connectors that can be used to shorten the cables. You, obviously will have to cut the cables shorter. Just add adhesive and you can glue it to the underside of your cabinet.
